Double Vision

the wait

Jamie pov
"Air I need you to move. I need a crash cart in here now." The doctor yells pushing past me I didn't even know what was going on it didn't click till I turn around and see Kae not moving. "Please help her is she ok?" I'm asking who ever can answer me they are doing CPR on her and my tears just start flowing. Please Lord help her is all that is going through my head right now I can't loose her.
"Ok we got a heart beep we need to get her to the OR she hemmoraging." The doctor is says as the wheel her out of the room.
"Sir let's go out here and as soon as I know sonethi ng we will come and get you." The nurse says escorting me to a waiting area. They took the babies to the nursery to get looked over.

It's been 3 hours with no updates, so I go to find so done and just as I get up a doctor comes out to find me. "Hello Mr. Dornan your wife is ok and stable. She lost alot of blood and because of previous cervical damage and all we had to do a total hysterectomy. I'm so sorry there was no chance of fixing it." He tells me and I'm at a lost for words she will never be able to have any more kids. She is going to be devastated when I tell her. "A nurse will come get you as soon as she is in a room." He says as he walks away through the glass doors.

Two hours later I am sitting next to Kae waiting for her to wake up. I have gone down and checked on the babies a few times as I wait for her to wake up. They are amazing. I lay my head down on her bed holding her small hand. "Please baby girl wake up." I beg her. Just then her hand twitched causing me to sit up.
"Jamie where's my babies?" Is the first thing she asks me. "Baby girl your ok. Nurse she's up." I yell.
"Jamie stop yelling I'm ok."She says squeezing my hand. " Kae the babies are in the nursery and the doctors will be in to check you out. You had to have surgery after the babies were born. I almost lost you.." I try to say as I am crying. "I'm ok I'm right here Jamie. " she says wiping my tears away. "Hello Mrs. Dornan. How are you feeling?" The doctor asks her walking in the room.
"I'm ok I just want to see my babies please." Kae tells the doctor.
"Ok let me look you over and we can get that arranged." He says checking her vitals. "So what happened to me?" She asks him and I start to tear up more know this will kill her. "Well you started looking blood after you delivered and stopped breathing we got you back and rushed you to thw OR. There we got the bleeding to stop but there was to much damage so we had to do a total hysterectomy. I am so sorry." He explains to her and Kae has tears rolling down her cheeks. "You mean to tell me I can't have any more kids?" She sabs out. "Yes I am so sorry we tried everything.x he says and he leaves to go get the babies.
" Jamie I am so sorry." She says covering her face crying. "Don't be sorry baby girl you have blessed me with four amazing kids . Don't feel sorry. I still love you no matter what." I tell her sitting next to her. I remove her hands from her face and kiss her to stop her from crying. Now let's wait to see our babies.
