The house fell silent as I wait.
"Baby hurry please help me please." Jamie yells. I take off running down the stairs. Our house is trashed from top to bottom. Jamie is laying on the kitchen floor with blood everywhere.
"Jamie baby what happened? You are covered in blood." I ask crying holding his hand.
"It was him he stabbed my side and ran out the back door go lock it now call 911." He says laying his head on my lap.
"Jamie babe I already did lay still and calm down they are on their way." I say as I hear the knocking. "I'll be right back." I say running to the door to let them in. Cops are running to every room I tell them my husband's in the kitchen stabbed. The bring the gurnie in to take my husband to the hospital. I ride with him because I'm scared to death to be alone.
When we get to the hospital they say they want to take him to surgery to make sure he is OK. I sit in the waiting room to hear news on Jamie. I pace back and forth waiting longer. Just when I think they are never going to come out, the doctor comes out and lets me know that he is fine and in recovery. I go to his room and wait for him to come in. He is still asleep when they roll him in .
I get up and crawl into his bed and I didn't realize it but I fell asleep in his arms. Next thing I remember is Jamie coughing. "Baby you OK?" I ask him. "Just sore and tired." He says holding my hand. "Baby I was so scared that I lost you." I start to cry into his chest.
"Baby I told you I'm never going anywhere. Your stuck with me." He says kissing my forehead.
