Chapter 1: Judging
Kiko paces her floor, letting her mind wander. This is her first judgement that hasn't been a test. Nona has been giving her fake tests to make sure she was going to make the perfect judgement for her guests.
Kiko's white hair falls to her waist, and her strange pink eyes stare into nothingness. The cross on her eyes starts to spin, and she starts to understand what she has to deal with. She adjusts her black vest and goes behind her bar to make sure everything was running.
According to the memories she just got, there is a 'lovely' couple. The man is cheating on his girlfriend, and the girlfriend is giving her boyfriend her whole heart. The man is only using her for her body, something his true female companion can't give him yet.
Kiko starts to make a judgement, but she shakes her head. "Not yet, Kiko. Not yet." She whispers to herself before she hears the opening of the old elevators.
The couple walk out of the two elevators and slowly make their way into the main area. The couple first notices the darkness of the room, and 'on instinct,' the man steps in front of his lady friend. They start to make their way towards the fancy bar with the girl with white hair. The girl can only stare at the other girl's pink eyes with a weird cross shape in the center.
Kiko dips her head to the weary couple. "Hello, my name is Kiko, and I welcome you to the Sattleko. I will be your bartender for this evening." She says. "Please take a seat." Kiko gestures to the bar stools in front of her small body.
The man laughs, starting to walk forward with newly found confidence. "How old are you, dear? I don't believe you're old enough to be working here." He says, taking a seat and leaning on the table.
Kiko merely stares at him with no emotion in her face. "I'm afraid I cannot answer that. Now, may I ask, do either of you remember anything that has happened previous to your visit here?"
The man rubs his head. "Now that you mention it...no, not really." He answers.
Kiko nods. "Good. Now, I need to say five main rules that dictates what happens in the Sattleko." She pauses and waits for the girl to take her seat.
The girl chews on her lip. "Um...I can't remember my name, Kiko..." She says, worriedly taking a seat. "Do you know why?"
Kiko blinks, her face remaining with no emotion. She holds up one finger and says, "Number one, I cannot inform you of where you are." She holds up another fingers. "Number two, the two of you will play a game after I state these rules." Another finger. "Number three, your lives are at stake while playing the game." She adds another finger. "Number four, the game will be decided by a roulette spin." A board drops from the ceiling, and the board is broken up into nine sections. Kiko adds another finger. "And number five, no one can leave until a winner has emerged." She finishes.
