After of talking to Summer, we got to know each other well. She is nice and seems very natural. She always seemed happy and cheery. She tells me that she can do about anything with plants and even talk with animals. I had never really thought of how life was for other elementals. It seemed very incredibly different for the other elements. She had a life of pureness and health while I had experiences of warmth and security. I'm sure that everyone had it different depending on their powers.

She showed me some of her powers by growing herself a tall pedestal of leafy growth and sprouted vines across the sides of my house. She told me that she also found herself alone in the wild. But she didn't happen to come across a home like me. In her childhood, her mother was murdered in a large fight with what she believed to be fire elementals. They took her away and she had never heard from her again and assumed that she was gone. That seemed to be the only bad thoughts of Summer's memories, but it was a rather big impact on her life. Then She had lived with the rest of her family until she was abandoned.

Unlike me, Summer got practice with her powers as a child and was very skilled. Her family were all nature elementals and they were open about it, thus teaching her of her powers. Because she was lost in the nature, you can probably assume that she was able to nourish herself quite well alone. I was very glad that I had encountered such a nice friend like Summer. We had talked for about.... what? Two hours! But she was still one of the closest friends I had ever had.... considering I was abandoned at age seven. I got a feeling that I could really trust this girl.

She told me about how when her mother was taken by the fire elementals, and the men dropped a small shred of paper with an address in a close by city. She asked me if I would be willing to go there with her to see if they're still there and what they have done there. It was a lot to think about but I eventually told her "I will. I will go with you." I promised to help her find them at whatever circumstances it takes.

We arrived at Rockland Port during late afternoon..... or at least that's what I think it's called. It was a small quaint town near a rocky beach side with small buildings and houses and not very busy. It seemed like a nice town, until I was here to hunt down kidnappers. The train ride was slightly nauseating and was an hour long. But now that we were off the long train and I could smell the refreshing sea breeze. I just didn't want to touch it.....

We walked past the Rockland Port sign and began to wander about searching for the address we decided that it was getting late and we would search later after staying a night at some hotel. We found a normal hotel called The Clan House. Finally, we got a room for one night but it was only one room. There was sadly only one bed in the room. Summer and I were forced into the same room but she forced me to sleep on the floor. Yeah, figures......

In the morning we woke up at about 7:00 and we both got ready. We both decided it would be good first if we walked around the town and looked for anything suspicious. We started walking down the sidewalk and walked down to and open town square. It had a big fountain and a food court and was very cool looking. We decided that it was pretty normal looking and kept walking. We kept walking and I spotted a breathtaking girl on the opposite side of the street. She had dark hair, that looked even dark purple, tied back in a pony tail with bangs and strands hanging down on either side of her head. She skipped down the street with a big smiling on her face. As she past us, I felt a chilly gust of wind and I could've sworn that I saw some flakes of snow. I immediately turned to look at her and she turned and smiled back at me and my stomach filled with butterflies and my face turned red (probably on account of the fire in my body). Summer saw me stop so she turned and laughed. She told me, "Travis, stop drooling over that girl! You don't even know her." I was still frozen. "Just wait. I felt something weird," I told her. I ran ahead to catch up to the strange, beautiful girl. She walked over toward the fountain and was looking down into it. I guess she heard me coming because she turned and said "Huh..? Oh! Hi. My name is Winter."
