It is Time to Leave

I started to consider not going. I then remembered that they could get into trouble that even they wouldn't save themselves from. And I left.

I flung myself out the door and ran down the front steps to the sidewalk. Then it occured to me. Where the heck is this place? I have no way of figuring that out! Then I just started to run down the street. I had no destination in my mind. Just hope. Hope that I could somehow even get close to the address. I ran and ran and just looked at every street sign that I passed. I saw no "Gallonston Way" anywhere. I ran past a bike stand attatched to a blue and orange bike. Not only was the bike incredible looking, but I knew that I needed it.

I backed up to the bike and just stood looking at it. I sprung into action and kneeled next to the bike. I saw a chain that connected it to the stand and I began fiddling with it. I layed a steady hand on it and closed my eyes. I concentrated on the molecular structure of the chain.... or whatever. I felt a wave of heat surge through my body, up my arm, and up to the fingers on the chain. I felt the chain slowly deteriorate and the connection between the stand and the bike loosen. I opened my eyes to a red hot strand of melted metal. I ripped the remains of the molten metal off and stood up. I pulled the bike toward me and I swung my leg around to the other side. I balanced myself and peddled away. Away to.... who knows where.

I stood as I peddled on the street. The wind ran through my hair and my heart pumped. I felt adrenaline inside of me. However, it was not the rush of excitment. It was adrenaline mixed with fear. I made turns in random spots. I ran into dead-ends at some points and just turned around and went elsewhere. How would I possibly find this place? In fact, how would Meadow, Melodi, Winter, and Summer know where they were going? Nothing made sense to me right now.

I found my way to a random street and I was riding away. Still, I searched and searched. I rode and I felt something farmiliar. I felt a cold wind. There were small snow flakes that I past so I stopped suddenly. Winter? I moved back over to where I had felt the cold breeze. I followed it to my right and it led to a particularly strange house that hadn't caught my attention before. It was somewhat like the house that I was in with Winter, Summer, Melodi, and Meadow, except it was extremely run-down. The windows were either boarded up or cracked. The walls were all torn up and extremely flimsy looking. I was afraid to go in, but I knew that my friends were in there. Besides, I hope that I could get them out of there before the house collapses on top of them. I was afraid.... but not afraid enough to leave my friends.
