"Who are these two?" Meadow asked innocently. "Beats me," Melodi bored-ly said. She suddenly perked up and said, "Welcome back, Winter! How was the fountain?" I realized that the only reason Winter came out and took a walk was to visit the fountain. She really must've been fond of it. "Do you have some sort of experience with that fountain? You seem to have a liking to it," I told her. Her smile softened and she told us her background. "When I was a child, I used to live here, alone in the city by myself. I loved to be outdoors and I was constantly drawn to the fountain. I didn't know anyone and I was often lonely around here. I always hung around the fountain, maybe for hours at a time. But, I feel as though I have some link to it that I don't know about yet. It's my favorite thing that I've come to know around here," she informed us. Her story made he sad, yet smile at the same time. Her dedication to the fountain made me happy. It only strengthened my liking for her.
Summer then introduced both of us. "My name is Summer and this is Travis. Nice to meet you two." Then Meadow and Melodi both introduced themselves to us. "So are you two staying here in town?" Winter asked. Summer informed her on our whereabouts at the hotel. "Well how about you come stay here with us. We have enough room and we don't charge," Winter invited us with a smile, "Pus it's safe because nobody knows that we're here." I pulled Summer off to the side while Winter talked to Meadow and Melodi. "How does she know we're looking for dangerous people and need to be somewhere safe?" I asked her. "It came up when we were talking at the food court, genius! I knew you weren't listening! Just drifting off into Winter's deep eyes," she said laughing. "Oh please..." I said nudging Summer.
"If you wouldn't mind, we would love to stay here." Summer said politely to the three girls. "Of course. Bring your stuff over whenever you like." Winter obliged. We both thanked them and ran out to grab our things. At the hotel, we packed up our clothes and what not, came down stairs and handed in our key. We walked back down to their hideout and knocked on the door. Winter reluctantly opened the door to us and let us in.
