You were nervous. Really nervous. Why wouldn't you be? Because this was your first date and it was with Kageyama who you randomly invited out due to your loud mouth. All you did was talk about this really cool carnival that was set up near your house and you wanted to invite your friends. But somehow it ended up being that you only invited Kageyama to the carnival. And what surprised you was that he said sure which threw you off guard. Wasn't he supposed to be in volleyball and practicing? Yet why did he accept your invitation?

You stood in front of the school gates, fidgeting like a new birb hatched from the egg. When was he going to be here? Or did you get here too early?

"Hey." His deep voice you recognized instantly broke your air of concentration. You looked up and laughed a bit. Kageyama stood in front of you in his volleyball uniform, the one with the jacket. You didn't really know but the Karasuno volleyball team wore those black jackets around, so that you knew in the least.

"G-good morning Kageyama-kun!! Ready to go?" You smiles brightly, trying to hide that nervousness. He nodded and walked besides you, him taking the side next to the road. You wanted to make light talk but nothing came to mind at the moment because you were more intrigued by how messy Kageyama's hair was. It seems as if he just woke up.

"Kageyama-kun, there's a good food vendor at the carnival we can go to! I like their burgers." You giggled to yourself thinking about food.

"Sure, tell me what's good there." Kageyama nodded and yawned. Yeap he must have just woken up and you were surprised he managed to get here.

"Yeah! And a lot of fun games too!! Hehe!" Your nervousness went away in thoughts of throwing darts or shooting cups down. Too immersed in your thoughts, you didn't noticed a skateboarder about to crash into you. Kageyama had his hand out to grab your body close to his, protecting you from the collison and he scold at the guy who didn't even seem sorry for almost knocking the daylights out of you.

"Watch where you're going you idiot!!" Kageyama yelled at the guy. He sighed and didn't let go of you yet. You were in too much shock to process what just happened.

"Hey, you okay?" He asked you. You blinked and looked up to him and you ended up staring into his blue eyes.

"Y-yeah." You muttered.

"Good. I also don't mind if you lean on me if you need to. Be careful okay?" He spoke with much seriousness that you didn't detect it. Simple because your nervousness came back and you were drawn in by his eyes.

"O-okay.."

"Good."

Hopefully you'll heed to Kageyama's words but then again, you might end up walking into a pole for goodness sakes.
