A/N: Alleeeeeen cries. It's.. slight angst? Not sure which category this is in but listening to Regret by Hoshimura Mai.

Also when my editing isn't constant and this is probably one of the longest one-shots I've written, woo~

Allen wasn't sure when it started or how it started. He was sure it could have been him or what he said, but now he wasn't sure. You started to become distant as of late and he knew that you weren't on missions. Lavi wasn't around to get on your nerves so he was left on a blank. He sighed to himself in his room and decided he could not have any more of this. It felt lonely when you wouldn't greet him or tell him good night.

In short, yes Allen was attracted to you but he was not aware of it himself. He just found your company comforting to him. But now he's sure that he's in love with you. Allen left his room with Tim on his shoulder, ready to go find you. He asked around the Order if anyone has seen you and majority of the response he's gotten is that you were out. That made his heart feel uneasy but he was determined to find you.

"Let's go out Tim. Maybe we can find _____." Allen patted his little golden golem. Tim flew around his head with excitement.

Allen wandered around the town a few times with smile on his face. There was a mini festival going on and he couldn't help to himself with some food. He also played a few games and won a hair pin that he thought would look nice on you. He was smiling to himself like a little kid and couldn't wait to give it to you. Tim bounced on his head and it was like Tim was saying 'Hurry! Let's go find her!'

Allen laughed and started to walk around the festival more. He had a feeling you were here as well since you love to enjoy these kinds of events. He looked around the booths, hoping to find your smiling face or hear your sweet laugh. You would always punch Allen whenever he would say that you have a sweet laugh. Lord knows your laugh isn't so sweet sounding but you enjoyed the compliment.

"Do you see her Tim?" Allen looked up to the golem resting on his head who returned with a shook of his body.

Allen sighed and clutched the pin to his chest. He was hoping that he would find you here and that you would wear the pin. He would feel so happy to see you looking so beautiful with this ornament but how could this scenario in his head come true if he couldn't find you?

Allen was about to give up and head back home. He'll still see you then. Just as he was about to turn to go back home, he heard your laughter and he looked towards that direction. Allen had the biggest smile on his face when he saw you by the shooting range. He gripped the pin less tightly and made his way to where you are.

Allen stopped a mere 5 ft away when he felt his heart shatter. There, you were standing with a man unknown to him and you were rooting for him. There you smiled and laughed and even hugged the man when he won you a teddy bear. Allen wanted to confront you and that man but he didn't want to cause a scene. You somehow made eye contact with Allen and tilted your head as to why Allen was standing there. Allen bit his lip and wanted to scream but instead, he held it in. He looked back at you with the best smile he could make without tearing up. You smiled back and waved at him as you walked away with your arm around the guy that won you the teddy bear.

He dropped the pin he held to his chest to his side and walked away. Allen regretted not being able to tell you his feelings.

"She'll be happier this way." Allen said to himself while wiping away the tears falling down his cheeks.
