A/N: WELCOMES BACK THE DGM FEELS HELLO! Starting with Lavi~

In case you'll be confused, you're an Akuma here hello and I am typing this at work lol.

It was never meant to be, it shouldn't have meant to be. But here you are, dining in a dim-light room with Bookman Jr. of all people. You shouldn't have been here, the Earl would have killed you. Yet, you were entranced by this human. He was supposed to be the enemy, supposed to be someone you have to kill. The tables turned on you and you never thought that you would have feelings for a human and exorcist at that.

You had a hunch that this Bookman knew about your true identity and somehow he ended up casually talking to you as if you two weren't enemies. You felt tense whenever Lavi would nudge his arm to you or brush his hand against your skin.

"Why haven't you touched your food yet? It's going to get cold." You heard Lavi's smooth voice in front of you. You jumped slightly and looked up to see him smiling at you. You grumbled something incoherent under your breathe about how dumb this is.

"You know, I'm glad to have a pretty lady as yourself agree to my invitation, I was sure that I was going to get turned down." He laughed nervously. You knew that he was playing the innocent rabbit and you knew all too well that he's just waiting for you crack. You weren't going to give in. That's now how you do things.

"Seeing as how you are such the smooth talker, I'm surprised why there aren't many women around you." You responded as you took a bite of the meat in front of you. It wasn't delicious, plain actually. You would rather have the Bookman's blood over your plate than a dried up piece of meat.

"I am the smooth talker but it seems that everyone just doesn't see it that way." Lavi shrugs with a light laugh, making you laugh with him.

"Sure you are." You gave a short reply. You set down your fork and knife, feeling full at the moment. Your hunger wasn't full but you can't just say, 'hey can I kill you now' in front of the exorcist. You had standards and consider yourself a classy lady.

You placed your elbow on the table, resting your chin on your hand and looked outside the window. You watched the humans walk by aimlessly or with another human next to them. Just what was it that humans find so interesting about one another? Just what was it that this human in front of you found so interesting about you? It could be the hard known fact that you're an Akuma but you also wondered if it was something else.

"What are you thinking about?" Lavi asked you. He was trying to break the silence or probably try to get you to crack. His tone sounded different and a bit more seriously. You smiled thinking of how fun it would be to face him in a battle. You turned to him with a smile on your face that was innocent as you can make it to be.

"How strange it is for you and I to be in a place like this."

Lavi returned the smile and he too, found it strange for an exorcist like him to be having dinner with an Akuma like you.
