I was done.
He was dead, gone. Cheering was heard from under and I realized there were still plenty of people down behind me. I turned and realized Gaara had not retreated.
I told him twice wasn't that enough?
I sighed and looked over to Obito.
I crunched down slowly, painfully. Wow he messed up my back.
I got out a white stick from my combat boots. I took a silver lighter from the other. I lit the cigarette and started smoking.
"I thought you were over them!" Someone called and I smiled, knowing it was Shikamaru.
"I am nineteen. It is legal for me to smoke not for you."
I took in a big breath and let the smoke out, approaching Obito. I got my Andogan on, light shining white, I took in a breath and marks in green started to burn in my skin. I tried to ignore it.
I got the smoke out and a figure formed with it.
"What is this?" Obito hissed at me when the figure finally formed.
"Rin, this is Obito. You certainly remember him, right?"
The girl straightened and looked Obito over with disgust. "Yes." She said bitterly before looking over to me. "Princess Maiko." She bowed.
I smiled at her. "No need for formalities." She returned the smile before looking at Obito again. "Is this what you turned out to?"
I interrupted. "Before you cuss him out, why don't you use the form you chose as a spirit?"
She turned to me and the smoke turned into a grown up woman with a long white dress, the Konoha headband on her neck.
"I always talked about growing up faster." She said.
I snorted. "I worried about aging. I fucking wanted to be immortal." I said with humor. (random fact about author :D)
She smiled. "And so I was informed."
I turned to Obito. "I didn't bring her here to make you feel bad, man. Though you should...I brought her here cause she's gonna be the one to take you to hell once you are dead."
He glared at me. "Why her?"
"Because she is the reason why you're doing this for. Because she's the one you loved but lost the way to deserve her. When Sasuke dies Imma be there to take him to heaven. When Kakashi dies, I'll be there too. Like half the people in this place will be taken to heaven by me. Except you." I pointed to Naruto. "Jiraiya will be there to take you to your parents."
"Who will pick you up?" Obito asked.
"Well last time it was Oreo-kun but I think this time it will be either Mom or...Weasel-kun." I turned around. "ITACHI ONII-SAN! PICK ME UP, OK?!"
He smiled at me, nodding. "Sure, Maiko. Your mother said hi by the way."
"HI MOM!" I called to the sky.
I smiled to Obito. "Die." Naruto ran to him in sage mode with Sasuke by his side. I touched the cigarette again and stretched it. I blew into it and burn marks appeared on Obito's skin. I smiled and saw the tree weaken.
Hoshiko looked a bit panicked, not knowing what to do.
"Kakashi..." Rin's echoing voice said. "You learn how to forgive and forget very easily when you're dead. And I never held a grudge for you to feel sad..." She said softly. "Love the one you're with."
"Rin..." Kakashi responded quietly, sighing. "There must have been another solution rather than you dead."
"OMG I swear if any of you sulk over my death like this-" I shook my head at the thought.
Sasuke turned as glared at me. "Can you PLEASE stop saying you're going to die?! YOU AREN'T HELPING MY CAUSE!"
I rose my arms in defense. "Look. I've always knew I was going to die young. Ok?" My eyes lightened. "Let us die young or let live forever, we don't have the power but we never say never...Sitting in a sand pit, life is a short trip. The music's for the sad man." I murmured to myself. (Dedication for next chappie to whoever can tell me what song that is and it's artist :D)
"Position 2!" I called out and Shikamaru's shadow came to me and I had it on my hand. Literally. I grabbed it gently and found Deidara had listened too. He gave me a piece of clay, smiling at me with pride. I made a massive ball with the clay and gave it to the shadow. The shadow grabbed it and spread it all over the tree, and Obito, making it a trap prison. I smiled and took another smoke.
Everything exploded and I nodded to myself. Rin appeared next to me.
"Thank you. For what you said to Kakashi. You'd think I protect him too much but he needed it." I told her without meeting her eyes.
"Everyone, even the heartbroken, and heartbreakers, deserve happiness." She answered back.
"The fault is not in us..." I nodded.
"But in our stars." She nodded too. "Shakespeare."
"Shakespeare." I agreed.
"I was very fascinated by the way your world works, Princess Maiko. It seems to me, though, that everything that is a decision is taken by the power of chance." She said. "The tears of a miserable girl in the Spring rain picking petals from a flower, wondering if 'he' loves her, or not." She sighed. "The cockiness of young men flipping coins for agreement." She said and sighed once again.
"Life is a game of chance though. For example, will I die today, or tomorrow. Or maybe in fifty years. No one knows. Life is a game of chance. And it will always stay that way."
"But you know." She pointed out.
"Life is a game of chance. Take your own." I said at last, blowing one last time.
Love ya. <3 Sincerely, Alijoice.
