Chapter: 1

Sonic Pov

Dam I really wasn't expecting there for the meeting to be soooooooo long. It really gets on my nerve when all you hear in the meeting are a bunch of stuck up rich people talk about the dumbest things, but I guess I can't complain since I did choose this life. *sigh* I started to walk towards the elevator and push the ground floor button, but a tall man waved for me to hold the elevator door.

"Oh." I said while I stopped the door from closing.

"Thank you.......ummm?" He questioned.

" The name's Sonic." I said grinning. This guy seems a bit too nice.........dang its probably just me." Jeez Sonic you're so paranoid" I scolded myself. Wow I need to stop with the whole me talking in my head, it really is starting to weird me out now.

"So it's you...." The man whispered quietly so I could barely hear him speak.

"Sorry I didn't catch th-" before I could finish my sentence the man pushed me against the wall of the elevator and pushed all the floor buttons.

"Now you're going to do as I say and no one gets hurt alright?" He threatened with a blade pressed against my neck. I nod my head.

"Who the hell does this guy think he's messing with?!?!" I yelled in my head. I celebrated in my head congratulating myself for knowing he was acting weird. "Now I need to get out of his grip." I thought.

"OK so when the door opens you are to follow my instructions and you won't get hurt." He threatened and at that moment he loosened his grip. "Rookie mistake." I smirked. I quickly got out of his grip and fought over the hilt of the knife. The knife ends up being tossed to the floor. The man jabs for my face and I evade each one. I strike him with 3 lightening punches to the face.

"F**k!!!" He cries out in pain as he stumbles back. Once he gains his footing, he elbows me in the face. "Well dam I actually didn't want to have blood on me when I get home." I joked.

"Now this needs to end already." I thought while getting serious. He throws a punch which I dodge and I uppercut him which causes him to fall unconscious to the floor.

"What the..." I say while looking at my reflection in the elevator doors "Great I have a black eye..............FML!?!"

Once the elevator reaches the ground floor I exit the building while people are shocked to see my eye swollen and puffed up. "Jeez haven't these people learned that staring is impolite and they call me the bad guy here." I joke.

*Ring ring ring*

"Hello?" I answered already anticipating the yelling.

"Where the f**k are you I know your rich and all, but it's still disrespect to keep your friend waiting in the limo." A familiar voice rants off. "Wow I'm still shocked how he has changed over the years." I laughed internally.

"Tails I'll explain right now can you just unlock the door...........please." I beg while giving puppy eyes to the window of the limo.

" You know what............I never realized how much I want to hit you some times." Tails jokes while opening the door. While I get in he starts to question me why I was late.

"Well if you haven't noticed I do look like I lost an eye." I state while pointing at my swollen eye.

"Are you joking another one?" Tails says worried. "That's it I've had enough of you getting hurt like this you need to hire a bodyguard already like I told you before."

"What no?!?" I say with wide eyes " I've been good so far I can deal with them on my own." To think that I'm going to let someone else treat me like a defenseless kid no.

"Sonic please you have to and I know you're saying that because you know you can defend yourself." Tails explains with a worried expression "but you having a bodyguard would make me feel more at ease, you have to remember that there are other people who care about your safety."

Gosh dang it!!! I'm going to feel like such a bad friend if I don't do this and money wouldn't be an issue either. Dam.

"Ok............I'll get a bodyguard." I sighed with defeat. I feel like I'm getting soft, but as long as it gives him peace of mind and who knows it could make my life easier.

"Finally!!!" Tails exclaims happily "You are so stubborn sometimes."

"Hey!!!" I say as we start to bicker once more.

What have I gotten myself into.

Also would you guys want the same length or do you guys want something shorter or longer.

Again since this is my first time writing there might be some mistakes and I'm sorry if there are any 😟
