Chapter: 10

Sonic Pov

"Hey guys I need to get something from my room brb." I said to everyone while heading upstairs. I just wanted to get out of the room since everyone was drinking and I can blame Rouge for that. Not only that, but the sight of Shadow with Amy just makes me..........ughhhh. Once I reach my room, I head towards the balcony. I lean my body on the railing and let the cold air hit me.

"I just don't understand why Amy hasn't given me a chance to show her that I'm different. Yes I understand she's with Shadow and I want her to be mine, but I want her to treat me like she used to." I thought in my head while gazing towards all the lights of the city. "I just..........want her to care about me again. I mean she's here to protect me and all, but how I'm I sure she's not just doing her job."

As I was gazing I noticed a car pull up in the driveway. Once the car came to a stop the door swung open revealing a familiar figure.

"It's Sally I think?" I thought while squinting my eyes. Sally looks up noticing me and shyly waves her hand. I quickly realize how creepy it is for me to just be staring at her. I wave back and go back into my room. I check my phone to see a couple of texts from Amy.

.Where r u the party's down here? Also Scourge just showed up
.Sonic r u alright it's been 30 mins already?

.Don't worry I'm going down rn

.good cuz Rouge just made u a drink and I just found out she's a bartender lol it suits her perfectly

"Doesn't even suprise me haha." I thought while heading downstairs.

"I'm not a lightweight I swear." Tails said with a slur. Really Tails, you can't even stand up straight after 4 beers.

"Prove it then if you're not chicken that is." Scourge taunts him.

"Guys this is going to end badly." Blaze cuts in worried for the fox.

"Don't Blaze, Tails will be ok." Silver comforts her.

"Oh I will." Tails smirks while chugging 16oz can of beer.

"Chug Chug Chug!!!" Everyone yells out. Wow Tails you're going to feel it tomorrow lol.

"There you are, are you ok?" Amy asks me while walking over.

"Yeah I'm fine.........Wtf?!?!" I say while getting startled by seeing Shadow and Rouge kissing. Why is he, no is he cheating on her...............do I tell her?

"What's wrong Sonic?" She asks with worry and notices what I was staring at.

"Oh that................ummm yeah I kind of noticed that ummm Shadow was flirting with Rouge after a couple of beers. Rouge turned him down each time, but I could tell she wanted to give in so I just b-broke it off. When Shadow gets drunk..................he's an ass to be honest." She says trying to pull a fake smile. That's not going to fool me. I pull her into a tight hug and walk her to the guest room she's staying at.

"Do you want to talk about it or are you ok?" I say trying to soothe her. She looked at me with no emotion and she broke down immediately. She pulled me closer to her and cried into my chest. I stayed with her till I heard light snores coming from her. I gently laid her down on her bed and closed the door. I'll check on her later. Shadow is going to pay for what he did to her in the morning. I don't want to ruin this get together for everyone. For now I want a drink.

Once I make to where everyone was at we all began to talk and drink. We all got to know each other and what we were all doing with our lives. I tried my hardest to let the whole agent thing pass for today. I can't decide which of my friends is the agent. Screw it I just want to have fun right now. After 2 hours we were all wasted and people were knocked out everywhere. Rouge was asleep on the table and Tikal was knocked out on the floor of the restroom. I felt bad for Silver who was the first to knockout and Knuckles took a marker and drew on his face. Tails was asleep, but his face was on top of the cake Sally brought.

"Hey Sonic I'm going to leave already." Sally said interupped my train of thoughts.

"Wait aren't you too drunk to drive." I slurr trying to focus my vision since I was seeing two of everything.

"Oh no I'm not driving I called a cab, but I wanted to say goodbye." Sally said while looking into my eyes.

Amy Pov

Finally the noise finally died down, I need a glass of water. I need to thank Sonic for staying with me. He really didn't need to, but I'm glad he did. Shadow that f**king asshole, I mean I know we weren't officially dating, but I actually gave him a chance. He basically begged for one before hand and now that I give him one, he just tosses me away. It just makes me feel....................shitty I guess. Whatever that just means I can start a relationship with Sonic and I'm hoping it's everything I thought it'd be. Wow I still want Sonic, I guess somethings don't ever change lol. I remember I wanted Sonic all to myself when I was younger and now that I can possibly have that...........

Now I just need to find my way through this house while a bit tipsy. This is going to be a piece of ca- DAM I almost fell. Well do I really want water? Ughhh you know what I'll just steal a water from Sonic's mini fridge in his room. It also give me a chance to thank him too. I'm such a genius. As I walk towards Sonic's room I hear talking. I get closer only to see Sally and Sonic kissing.

I begin to walk back to my room with silent tears falling, unnoticed by the two.
