Amy Pov

" Sonic * breathing heavily* I finally found you." I say breathlessly. Dang this is the fourth time he has ran from me. It hurts to know he's purposely running from me, but I know he cares......................"He has to care about me right?" I began to question myself.

"Hey Amy, but now is not a good time to talk." He deeply sighs out with complete annoyance in his voice. Why does he always say that. He used that excuse 3 times striaght.

"Oh.............ok I'll swing by tomorrow then." I say with a fake smile. Why does it hurt so much. "Maybe he doesnt ca- No he cares, he's just busy and he doesn't have time for dumb old me." I tell myself trying to cheer myself up.

"Do YOU ever STOP?!?!" He screams at me " I don't want you here can't you just take the F**KING HINT ALREADY!!! DAM why didn't you leave like everyone else and leave me alone, I DON'T NEED YOU!!!"

"I..........thought m-maybe you w-were going to be.....lonely." I say barely above a whisper with streams of tears falling. " I wanted to know you were safe. I really care about you, Sonic." Why is he yelling at me? I've never seem him this angry before. He's really scaring me. I start shaking from fear of what would he do next.

" Well maybe you should CARE LESS!!!" He screams at my face causing me to flinch. He really doesn't care about me.......................I'm such an idiot.

"B-but-" I try to say but was interupped by Sonic's yelling.

"DAM YOU'RE SUCH A CLINGY BRAT!!! I NEVER CARED ABOUT YOU IN THE SLIGHTEST!!! LEAVE ALREADY NOBODY WANTS YOU TO BE HERE AND JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!!!" He yelled at me with venom on every syllable.

"O-ok I'll.....................l-leave you alone." I say holding back all my tears that were close to spill. I quickly ran to my house to avoid Sonic seeing me cry even more than he already did. "Why was I such an idiot?!? I was so naive to think he actually gave a dam about me." I thought while sobbing trying to think of what to do.

"I'm done..............I can't do this anymore. I'm leaving, I can't take this anymore." I sobb outloud coming to a realization. I quickly pack the essentials and take one last look on the life I'm leaving behind.

" This is what he wanted, then.............I'll do it." I say before turning my back and leaving the town I grow up in.

Amy Pov
(before the attack on Sonic's house)

"Hey Shadow." I said in a cheery voice. Who would have thought that me and Shadow could have became as close of friends as we are now. I will admit he has changed ever since he swear that he would change if I wanted him to. I know why he did it................he has feelings for me from what he told me, but he looks too much like Him. It kind of freaks me out a bit. I have been with other guys, but I didn't feel anything between them and me. Wait why is he looking a bit nervous?

"Hey Amy have you heard about what your next assignment is?!?" Shadow says in a worried tone.

"I was about to talk to our commander about it right now, but what's wrong with it?" I question him.

"Well you're going to be the bodyguard of..........." He pauses which causes me to worry "........Sonic." My smile and my happy mood were replaced with pure angry and a bit of fear.

"WHAT?!?!?!?" I yell which causes people to look at me.

"A-are you ok Amy?" Shadow asks worried.
