Loving the Alpha

Chapter 2

After the party was over and everyone left. I looked up at Kyle and noticed he was staring at me. He licked his lips and opened his mouth as if he was to say something but then closed it, this happened a couple of times.

The only thought going through my head is 'he looks like a fish'. I laughed and he looked at me confused and wipes his face probably thinking he had something on it. This made me laugh more.

"What" he says a bit annoyed that I was laughing at him. " your face...you looked like...a...fi...fish" I said laughing. He tilted his head to the side and and looked at me confused. I catch my breath  "you were looking at me and kept opening and closing you mouth making you look like a fish" his eyes went wide and his cheeks flushed pink and he hit his face with his hand.

" I-I was going to ask you if, if you wanted m-me to stay with you to-tonight" my eyes went wide and he noticed and quickly added " or I can stay in a spare room I don't mind it's up to you" I smile a little and I think he takes it as I smile because he said I have a choice.

"I guess I should just go to my room then" he says puts his head down and turns walking away. "Wait!" I shout and he stops in his place but doesn't turn around. I run in front of him and lifts his head a little so he is looking into my eyes. "My room is on the second floor the big one at the end of the corridor to the right." He smiles "just give me 5 minutes before you come up." He nods and heads of to what I suspected to be the spare rooms where his pack are.

Running up the stairs to my room I quickly go into my bathroom and take all of my makeup off, wash my face, brush my teeth brush my hair. I look at the clock to see I have 1 minute before Kyle comes up I run into my wardrobe and strip so I am in my underwear and rummage through my PJ's and find a nice pair and look at them with administration.

"Mae, are you in here? Your door was open so I came in."

Shit.

I am still not dressed. "Umm...yeah I am I will be out in a minute." I shove my pyjamas on and rush to the door and open it normally going into the room.

Kyle is by my window looking out and when I walk out he turns to me and he looks me up and down making me feel a little uncomfortable but I liked it at the same time. He looks at me once more with a hint of satisfaction in his eyes making me blush a little. "Take a picture it will last longer" I say with a hint of sarcasm in my voice and he then looked upset. What did I do?

I turn away knowing I don't want to look at him while he is upset with me because when an alpha is upset with someone they don't want them around and I can't watch his face when he rejects me it will make it worse. I start to panic knowing he is about to break me into a million little pieces.

" Mae look at me." He says. " no I can't you got upset and now you are going to reject me". He growls a little. " Mae. Turn around."

"No"

" Mae I will never reject you now turn around"

"Then why were you upset? I know when an alpha gets upset with someone they don't want anything to do with them."

"Yes I was upset but with what you said not you. Just turn around I want to see your beautiful face. Please"

I turn slowly but keep my head down. And go sit in my bed. He follows and sits next to me. " hey look at me I was just upset because I don't what a picture to last longer than you I want you forever and not just a picture of you" I blush at his words and look up at him.

"You mean it you want me." He nods and smiles down at me, I'm aware my checks are the colour of a tomato. He wipes his thumb against my check and smiles. " you are cute when you blush. "

I lay down and hide my face In my pillow. He laughs and I look up. " let's get some sleep "  he says and takes off his shirt and trousers and I can't help but stare. "Like what you see? " I nod as a response. "I can tell because baby you are drooling and staring at me and its-its... "

I look into his eyes wiping my mouth he stops and just looks at me and starts to get in bed. I roll over to get comfortable against his chest. "It's what Kyle?" I ask not wanting him to leave me wondering.

I look up to his face and see a slight blush and smiled a little at it knowing i can make him blush as well. "It's...umm...it's a turn on" he says acting guilty. I laugh. He blushes more and I decide to mimic him and wipe my thumb over his check and say "your cute when you blush". He laughs at me trying to do his voice.

I roll over onto my side and feel shuffling behind me and then feel an arm pulling me close to their body. I feel the tingling  between the contact of Kyle and me and cuddle up into it sighing.

We fall asleep in that position.

I wake up to the sound of a camera going of and open my eyes to see me mom taking pictures of me sleeping "WHAT ARE YOU DOING GET OUT OF MY ROOM NOW MOM" I shout waking someone up beside me. What the fuck.

I look over to see a guy there and then I remember everything from the night before and look down at Kyle as he groans. That was like heaven to my ears. What am I thinking. "Mae what's wrong" he says griping my waist a little tighter. I love the sound of his morning voice. What is wrong with me.

" my mother was taking pictures of us sleeping" I say. He shot up and looked at my mom. "What!" He says kind of excited which confuses me.  I look at him confused. " can I see it" he says to my mother. She smiles and says "see you need to lighten up even the big bad alpha here is okay with it" as she shows him the picture on her phone.

He then takes it doing something and the next thing I know his phone goes off. Oh no he didn't and then so does mine. Great I don't want to see my ugly sleeping face. His phone then goes off again. he looks at me amused and gives my mother her phone back she looks at what he did and laughs.

" what. What did you do?" I say to him trying to stay calm. "I sent the picture to the both of us, saved my number on your moms phone so she has it for emergencies and sentyournumbertomyself" he said saying the last bit fast. I grab my moms phone to see what he said and I saw it. Well two can play this game i think with a smirk on my face. I sent his number to my phone.

He laughs at me knowing what I just did and pulled me to him hugging me.
" mom haven't you ever Heard of knocking anyway" I say still a little annoyed at her. "The door was open so I didn't need to". Fuck did I not shut that last night.  Oh well too late now. 

"Anyways I came up here to tell you there is breakfast on the table for you and Alpha Thomas said that your pack can stay another night if needed" she said looking to Kyle at the end. He nodded and she left.

"Well that was... Interesting" he says "yep, lets get dressed and get breakfast"
I say and he nods.
