Chapter 14

We left the restaurant and went home. On the way home I got kinda bored so I started to sing. The first song that came to mind was a new song made by a youtuber that made me think of Kyle and my relationship when I first Hurd it as it's what our lives to be it's called Jerika by Jake Paul and Erika Costell

I look up at Kyle at the end "how long left till we are home?" I ask. He's just sat there with his mouth agape staring at me blinking as if his is trying to make sure life is real or imaginary. "What?" I ask. "You just,well you sing that song with you amazing voice which hypnotises me and then ask a question as if it was nothing" I was only singing the first song that I thought of to pass the time of traveling in a car so when I finished I wanted to know how much longer that's all" "well in that case we are just pulling in and your voice is beautiful just like you" he says with a wink.

We just got in the room and I'm getting ready for bed while Kyle is making sure everyone got home safe and had no injuries. I get into bed and Kyle walks in " everyone is okay there was one injury that was caused by tripping over a branch at the border of the forest" I laughed "really I feel sorry for them the last minute and they get injured, poor soul".

Kyle gets undressed so he is just in his boxers and gets into bed. "Goodnight babe" "night" I say he kisses me and I kiss him back. We kiss for about 3 minutes until I pull away for air and rest my forehead on his.

He leans down and kisses to my mark. I moan as he does and he smirks "I love you baby" he says then after noticed what he said and looked scared "I love you too my big brave Alpha". I say he them smiles and looks more relaxed. He kisses me again with more passion and I can feel the connection growing and the sparks are stronger. "Wow"he says when pulling away "did you feel that" I nod. "It getting stronger" "which also means our Wolfe are getting stronger as well" I smile.

We lay down and cuddle up with each other "I love you so much baby I just wish you knew how much you make me feel for you, you are my everything "
He says to me "I love you more" I say back. I then roll over and go to sleep.

I was walking in the street the next day with Kyle  we were going to get a smoothie as I hadn't had one in a while. As we reach the new smoothie bar something doesn't feel right. It's probably just the fact neither of us have been here before and don't know that it's like.

We get our smoothie and walkout drinking them. "These are so good, we have to come back again"I say "yeah I agree, this is amazing".

We start to walk back home when I see someone familiar but couldn't quite put a name to the face. He turns around and sees me he comes up to me. 'Oh shit, it's Conor my ex' "hey Mae how's it been I've not seen you in ages" "go away Conor you know why we haven't seen each other" Kyle looks at me as of to say who is this and what is going on. I give him an apologetic look. "But Mae I done everything right for us. I don't understand why it didn't work".

I pull Kyle away from Conor I don't want to see him or talk to him because he is a huge idiot. "Can you tell what just happened?" Kyle asked "MAE PLEASE!" Conor shouted I turned around and said "no Conor we agreed from the beginning and both knew what was going to happen let it go" I shouted back "I can't let it go" he pulled out a shot gun from his inside pocket and before I could do anything the gun was fired. It didn't hit me I don't feel any pain,maybe I died instantly and this is what it's like to be dead. I look around and saw Kyle on the floor bleeding. He shot Kyle right in the chest "no No NO" I said crying while falling next to Kyle on the ground. A crowd was forming around us. I just couldn't move"
