Loving the Alpha

Chapter 16

We fell asleep during the movie. When I woke it was about 6am the next day. I guess we really did have a lazy day as we did nothing. 

I shake Kyle awake. "Morning beautiful" he says. "Morning".
I'm going to make something to eat do you want anything" I ask " just toast, I'm guessing that you are all good today" he asks with a hint of disappointment because he can't be protective  as much.

I nod as I walk down stairs to the kitchen. I make us both some toast Nutella for Kyle and ketchup for me (don't diss it before to try). We eat it in bed. 

Once I finish I shower and get dressed in lazy clothes as I'm going to be sat in a office doing my Luna duties all day.

I walk out of the closet to the room as Kyle comes out of the bathroom with a small towel round his waist. 'Damn he's looking good' my wolf says.

"Like what you see" he asks laughing.

I blush and look away. "I'm getting dressed then we will go to 'our office',
Ohh that sounds good I like it" he says.

Once we where in the office I go through the stack of papers that say how the teenagers and younger kids are doing in school and with there training. I sort them into piles of who is good at school, who is good with training, who is good at both and who needs help with both.

Once that is done I put each pile in alphabetical order. I go through the need help with both pile first so I can help them with things and let their parents aware that they might need a bit of help with homework and revision.

I make a list of names there isn't that many as most are advanced at both or with training as we are born athletic. I mind link all of their parents to let them aware and I arrange a study session in the pack library on a Tuesday evening for them I will los mind link them with the ones that need help with school work.

I sign the sheets I have gone through and sorted things for and move in to the next.

The once that need help with training I have set up an extra training session on a Wednesday morning as it wakes up the body and that way I can use breakfast to get them to come as werewolves can never say no to free food.

For the ones that are good at both training and school I have mind-linked and congratulated them on there hard work.

I go on to star the next things witch is to make sure the pregnant women are happy and comfy with there pregnancies and find out if they have any worries or issues so it can be felt with my the pack nurses and doctors. But before I have chance. To organise the pile by how far along they are I feel like I'm being watched I look up at Kyle and it's true he is watching me.

I look back down trying to ignore it he eventually looks away i look at him and he is reading a form and a frown appears on his face. He picks up the paper and walks around with it. Mumbling to him self. I think he is working something out. "Need help?" I ask.

He looks at me and then my piles then his "yes as you seem to be getting through this faster than me" I smile and stand up.

I read the form it's a company about how the borders are not evenly guarded by the head of out night boarder patrol.

"Okay so where is the boarder patrol plan" I ask lily get a folder and goes to the second patrol sheet I'm guessing the first is day time. I look at it we have 5 sides and on is patrolled for 2h by one person nothing for 15 mins and 3 people for 4h.

Then 3 of them have 2 people for 3h and swapped over to 2 people for 3h.

And the last one has 3 people for 2h and 1 person for 4h

"It's simple these three are okay" I say pointing at the three that are the same. "But these ones take one person off of the 3 person shift and put them on to help with the person who is on his own and make them 3h shifts each that way all of them have 2 people on at all times for the same amount of time." I say proud of myself that I have helped with alpha work.

Kyle smiles and says "how did you notice that so fast"

I just shrug with a I don't know face. He nods and sits back down and carries on with work. I do the same but after each sheet I look up and watch Kyle for a bit as he looks handsome when he is focused and i can take in all of his facial features.

Damn he makes it so easy to distract me. I guess I just can't hell the fact the moongoddess gave me the best mate ever. I small at the thought.
"What?" He asks obviously noticing that face I've been staring at him.

I just smile and say "nothing, you are just handsome when you are focused" I say blushing slightly.

He shakes his head with a smirk.

After we are both done. I get sandwiches for us both to eat. "I'm going to find Shaunna and Hannah after to let them know we finished for the day and they can get ready" I say

He nods "are you 100% okay today not one little bit of fear?" He asks with concern. I nod "I perfectly well and myself today" I say

"Good then I will let you go" I smile

'Shaunna Hannah we still on for a girls afternoon/evening thing'

'Yes'

'Hell yeah'

I smile.

'Good get ready and meet me downstairs out front in 30 mins'

" I'm going to get ready we are going in half an hour" I say to Kyle " okay be good and keep you Mindlink open" he says as I'm walking away.

I get my bikini on and put a pair of shorts and a vest top that says wild child on I put my hair in a high ponytail. I put a towel in a bag with a change of underwear in I grab my phone and go downstairs.
I sit in the front steps waiting for them.

"Ready" they say together coming outside in similar clothes to me.

"Let's go then" I say as we head into the forest to go to this so called lake"

As we reach an opening in the forest I saw the lake that had a sign up obviously to scare human people away. 'NO SWIMMING, wolf sightings near this area' I laugh at it the girl start laughing as well.

" I'm gunna go get changed I didn't put it on under" Shaunna said

"Me too" Hannah said

Well them two are something different they know we are going swimming yet they don't put on there bathing suit.

"Okay well I'm just gunna set up them as I can just strip off as I have mine on" they head in different directions and get changed.

Once they are back I noticed we all have matching bikinis on but in different colours.

Mine-blue
Shaunna- pink
Hannah- yellow

we lay on the towels for a bit then I decide that splashing them would be funny. We weren't that far from the lake so if I jump in they will get wet. They both had their heads down getting the sun on their backs. I get up and cannonball into the lake splashing them.

They scream. I come back up. "Mae what the fuck" Shaunna says

I laugh "sorry I was bored, but that was a bad idea as it is freezing" they laugh "karma" Hannah says.

They look at each other and then jump in either side of me make my face all cold again.

They come up "oh shit you whereby joking when saying it's freezing" Hannah says we all start laughing and end we stayed for 3hours. I get out  followed by the girls.

We decide to get dry we all walk off to hide behind different trees but not to far just so we couldn't each other.
I find a tree I get dry and dressed and put all of my wet stuff in my bag I also brush through my hair to get all the knots out.
