FADE IN:
INT. WOODSHED – NIGHT
We are facing a wall. There are gun racks on the wall, sniper rifles of all sizes and types hanging from them. All but one are present.
The door of the shed opens. We turn and face the doorway. DAVID AIM (26) walks in, a .308 Winchester sniper rifle slung over his back. He's wearing an all black, gymnastics-type outfit, with a hoodie and gloves. He walks towards us, the door shutting behind him, and places his sniper rifle in the empty slot on the wall.
GARRET AIM (O.S.): You went hunting, huh?
David sighs in annoyance. Turns to face GARRET AIM (40), wearing camouflage, a sniper rifle of his own slung over his shoulder.
DAVID AIM: Obviously.
GARRET: You're terrible at hunting.
DAVID: What are you doing here?
GARRET: You summoned me! So here I am.
DAVID: I didn't -
GARRET: Face it, son. You know why I'm here. Or do I need to remind you of this day, 13 years ago?
DAVID: No, spare me. (turns his head to the side) And what are you doing here?
We turn and see ALEXANDER EXELIKTIKI (28). He's wearing a suit and tie that was obviously tailored to fit him perfectly.
ALEXANDER EXELIKTIKI: Who are you talking to?
DAVID: No one.
ALEXANDER: Exactly.
We turn and see that there is no one else in the room but David and Alexander. Then we turn and face the two.
DAVID: What do you want?
ALEXANDER: Are you ok?
DAVID: What are you doing here?
ALEXANDER: Ok then... I'll find out later, I suppose. More importantly, Diamond has got herself into a mess. According to her, a gang she's been monitoring has received a crate full of drugs in the storeroom of a supermarket, supermarket 12. In reality, she's being hunted. Break into the storeroom and go save her.
DAVID: Supermarket 12?
ALEXANDER: The Walmart. We've talked about this before... Never mind. Look, she's outnumbered and the cops are on their way. Corrupt cops, might I add. And don't mention me, because you already know why I can't help.
David walks over to a workbench and grabs two very thin, metallic pieces of tech.
ALEXANDER: Appear on roof 217, ok?
DAVID: I'll be there.
ALEXANDER: You sure you're all right?
DAVID: I said I'd be there.
Alexander nods, defeated, and flickers soundlessly into disappearance.
David is shaking. Takes a moment to get a grip, doing breathing exercises.
After a few moments, he places one piece
of tech on each of his cheeks. A sort of holographic fabric stretches across his face, covering him from his nose down and acting as a mask.He then puts his hood on his head, causing a black, white, and blue (mostly black) micro-mesh suit to completely cover his clothing and body. In this form, we will know him as DEADSHOT. When he talks, his voice sounds muffled and electronic at the same time.
GARRET (O.S.): You're gonna fail out there.
Deadshot turns and faces Garret quickly, angrily.
DEADSHOT: Shut up.
GARRET: You actually think you can do this? You think you have what it takes to save her after 4 goddamn weeks of being a lazy ass? Well, you don't!
DEADSHOT: Shut up!
GARRET: Tell that to yourself! It's not like I'm actually here!
DEADSHOT: SHUT UP!!!
Deadshot raises his hand. A guns forms in it and he shoots Garret in the head, causing Garret to disappear. The gun deforms and Deadshot composes himself. He then walks to the door. Next to the doorknob, there is a keypad. He keys in '217'.
DEADSHOT: TeleTech, sector 6. Ready?
TELETECH: Ready.
Deadshot opens the door and steps out. We follow him, not expecting to be where we are, which is...
