I was seriously considering having Balto neutered for doing this. I pouted slouching down in my seat on the bus ride home. I knew this was his little scheme, I doubted that Taryin or Sunny would willingly submerge themselves into daily high school life just for the fun of it.
Not only was I now going to have to house a ‘foreign’ exchange student, but every freaking girl in my school was out to get me. Taryin wasn’t helping either, I swear every chance the wack-job got he used to drill my life deeper into the hole.
He followed me around like a lost puppy harassing me every five seconds about all the walking, how heavy his bag was, that he didn’t understand.
Sunny was only a little better, which was most likely due to the fact that he was only in one of my classes. So he was forced to keep a professional distance from me. Unless he wanted to lose his job because of a rumour about a student and a teacher… I so did not need that.
But Taryin was seriously getting on my nerves, my face flushed as I forced myself to relive the entire day. Coming out of the bathroom and having him standing there waiting for me, complaining that he needed to go but the teacher wouldn’t let him follow me in.
The blush quickly faded as my jaw clenched in memory of my frustrating lunch. I had spent it trying to find solace from Taryin and his nagging voice, but every time I thought I found a good hiding spot he was already there waiting for me.
Not even Natalie had been of help, she had dance practice at lunch. I was alone and helpless against the idiot.
Even here on my bus, I fought to ignore Taryin sitting next to me completely, or seemingly, oblivious to the girls ogling him.
They appeared to be undressing him with their eyes and I got the pleasure of watching a couple of them drool. Taryin wasn’t doing anything physically to cause me distress but his presence drew unwanted amounts of attention not only to himself but to me as well.
Girls on my bus that had never even glanced in my general direction were suddenly gossiping about me, well most likely more about Taryin than anything else.
I was glad Sunny had to stay late for some teachers meeting where they would get him up to speed on what he had to do. Then again Sunny was nice and I could tolerate him, Taryin was a jerk who was monopolizing my every freaking second.
My eye twitched as he poked me in the shoulder, rigidly I turned to look at him wishing he would burst into flames.
“So what stop do we get off at?” He asked.
I took a deep breath and leaned back in my seat looking out the front window. My hand reached up pulling down on the yellow cord signalling for a stop.
“Now” I said pushing up grabbing my bag.
I walked to the front of the bus stabilizing myself by spreading my feet out, my jaw clenched as Taryin moved up behind me wrapping his arms around my hips and resting his hands on my stomach. His breath was warm on the back of my neck.
“You look cute when your all hot and bothered” He smirked nipping at my ear.
My elbow came back out of habit connecting with his stomach, Taryin doubled over behind me as the bus came to a halt. I smiled at the bus driver as I stepped off, Taryin was quick to recover and come rushing out after me.
He grabbed my arm spinning me around to face him. His orange eyes were bright with burning anger.
“Listen I don’t exactly want to be trailing after you like this, but I have to alright. So how about a little respect” He snapped his arm tightening obviously he was trying to intimidate me with his strength.
