I get my schedule from the office and before I came to class I printed out my syllabus on-line, rather than getting it from the teacher. I figured to do so ahead of time since my high school teachers told me it was a going to be a new environment and that my old studying skills might not work out for me as it did in high school. I could just remember graduation what felt like a couple of weeks ago, not 4 months, and felt like I had an orientation just yesterday.

I go to our convenient Dunkin' Doughnuts to get a breakfast bagel and a medium Vanilla Latte Lite. I sat at a table with a cushion chair, net to a window and took a bite out of my bagel. My phone started vibrating in my bag and I saw that I got a message from Matthew.

Mathew: Good Morning, my Love, what is the school like?

Kaysly: Good Morning, to you to hon, and it's really great better than what I read from the brochure. So how is everything holding up with u?

Matthew: It's going just fine ... It would be even better if you were here.

I really did want to go to the same University that Matthew went to, it had Biology and all the classes I needed, but I feel like me and Matthew just need sometime apart ... some where we are not always together all the time. I mean I love him I really do, but I do not know if he knows how to let go of something or someone who he really loves.

Kaysly: I am all yours after class.

Matthew: hmm, sounds tempting.

Kaysly: Bye, honey, see you soon.

As I am walking out of Dunkin' Doughnuts I try to remember where building 4 is to get to class. I envisioned the tour guide as she showed us where each building is, and what building has what.

I made it to class on time and as everyone else walks in front of me as I stare up at the huge classroom that actually looked like an auditorium and our teacher stood in the front of us with his desk. I took a seat in the 5th row, which followed by a few other students I didn't know who sat by me. Today is my first day and I have this big exam that I have to take and I am hoping I will pass so I will not have to take those extra unnecessary classes.

"Alright class!" He says in a grand tone. "I am Mr. Lewinsky and your problems are written up on the board, remember no talking during the test. Once you are done you may turn it in and leave." He went on about his business and cracked open a book and started reading.

There were about 20 problems on the board and I did what my teachers taught me, well mostly what I remembered, and the rest of it I ask God for guidance.

By the time I was done there were still a few other people still working, I turned in my test and the teacher pretended that I did not just walk up to turn in my test, and he continued reading. That was all that I had to do for the day after spending weeks studying and nights that seemed that lasted forever.

Before I can go to lunch with Matthew I decided to stop by an old friend’s house, to see how they're doing. I know I will have to repent after doing this because I still haven't told Matthew about it. I know how he is and how he would feel about this whole situation but I will tell him soon about everything.

I walk the same cracked pavement which was always broad with weeds sprouting out. I never thought about how the bible says always to walk on the path that is narrow to get to heaven, and the path to hell is broad. I hope God isn't using this as a way to say what I am doing is wrong and possibly deadly.

I lift my arm to knock on the door, but it opened before I could.

"Hey." He said. His appears has amended a lot over the years, every day that I see him I cannot quite say that the old him is still him but a different look.

"Hey, how are you?" I say sympathetically. He helps me take off my coat and he hangs it on the coat hanger standing behind the door. We both stand there looking at one another for a while as if we were just meeting one another.

"The fire-place is nice." I say, watching the flame practically lighting up the living room.

"Uh, yeah it's great especially for this time of year. Would you like anything to drink I made coffee."

"That's sound great, I would love some," I say, staring up at him.

"You could have a seat if you like," he said, while walking towards the kitchen.

I walk over to the couch and sit while laying the warm pillow on my lap and tucking my feet in after I take off my shoes.

Soon he came up with a tray, sitting on it were two coffee mugs and place mats.

"So how is school?" I ask after taking a sip out of my coffee.

"I haven't enrolled in any class yet." He said.
