As we get closer to the hotel, I get more tired and drowsy. The car ride is a bit long and to sit for such a long time when it's late, is tiring. Knowing Matt is next to me though helps me stay awake. It's not even that late yet, but it's dark. I think back to the moments I had with Matt and I get butterflies in my stomach, as if I didn't constantly have them flapping around. I can't help a smile and Matt notices it.

He looks at me affection in his eyes and shortly strokes my chin with his thumb.
"Now aren't you excited" he says with sparkling eyes. I love the fact that Matt is openly showing his affection towards me. As if we were a couple...
"If you can recall, Muse is my favourite band. And where am I now? In a car with Muse! Who whould have thought" I laugh, not even believing it myself. Dom turns around in his seat and looks at me and Matt.
"Matt, you somehow look very cute. Look at those sparkling eyes."
"Cute? That felt degrading" Matt says looking funnily serious, but I know he is only joking. He frowns and his voice has a certain comedy in it.
"But not as cute as Felicity" Dom tilts his head.
"True."
He leans away from me placing his hands on his thighs, studying my face and my features. It's quiet for a moment. And that moment feels like forever to me. Behind the comedy, I can clearly notice something else in the way he looks at me. Something deep and complex. I let his eyes take a good look at my face. His look moves from my eyes to my lips. He frowns and his jaw tenses.
"She's definitely cuter than me."
We all burst out laughing. Matt's English accent is fucking charming.
"He's in love" Dom says as we laugh.
I'm sure that Matt heard Dom. I heard him. It's dim in the car but it looks like Matt's cheeks turn a little red.

"Ah, finally!" Matt says as we see the city lights. Soon after that, the car stops on a parking lot in front of a tall, modern building, the hotel. I sigh of excitement.
"That's looks like a quality hotel to me" Dom states.

"We'll take our bags into the hotel rooms and then we'll go in a restaurant to have some supper" Dom orders. He always seems to be making plans. Punctuality.
"Sounds like a good plan to me" I say. I'm very hungry.
"And we will, of course, book you your own room, Felicity."
"That's very kind, thank you so much." Where would I even be at the moment without these guys.
"It's our pleasure."

We head towards the main entrance, the guys dragging their suitcases. Life like their's must be exhausting sometimes. I don't have anything, except for my small, black leather bag with a water bottle, hairties, and lipstick in it. Finally we check in, Tom and Morgan behind us.
"Good evening and welcome!" the receptionist says.

"So, Mr. Howard, Mr. Bellamy and Mr. Wolstenholme, your rooms are in the 15th floor, room number 202, 203 and 204."
"Thank you" Matt takes charge "We'd like to book one more room for our companion, on my name."
"Sure! Let's see... There's one free room in the same floor, room number 189. Would you like to book that?"
"Yes, please" Matt says and smiles at me.
"Thank you! The bellboy will take your bags into your rooms. Have a good stay!"

We follow the bellboys to our rooms. The elevator has a view to the city and as we go up, I admire the view. The elevator fills with the scent of the guys. I can hear their breathing and suddenly I feel so small. I'm the only woman among these guys.

My room is quite in the beginning of the hallway, the guys' rooms are in the middle of it.
"There's your room, we'll go to our rooms for a few minutes and then we'll get you from here on the way to the restaurant, okay?" Matt says.
"Sounds good!" I smile.
Dom and Chris are already walking towards their rooms. Matt passes me a quick, quiet kiss on the forehead, like a promise for something happening later. My pulse rises and the butterflies in my stomach start to flutter again intensely. A feeling of happiness fills me because of this wanted surprise. With an apologetic face, Matt leaves me to catch his mates. My heart flutters. I don't want him to leave, I already miss him.

With a warm feeling inside, I use the key card to open the door to my room. As the door opens, a beautiful view opens in front of my eyes. The hotel room has massive windows, almost the whole outer wall of the building is made out of glass. The gorgeous city lights decorate the view and as we're so high up, it's all even more beautiful. I couldn't have asked for a better room.
A small hall leads me to a the room. A king-size bed with clean, white sheets  is found on the right and the bathroom is on the left. I stand there with an open mouth, not able to move for a second. Then it hits me. I close the door, kick the shoes off my feet and JUMP on the soft bed, squealing of excitement.
"FOR FUCK'S SAKE FELICITY YOU'RE A LUCKY, LUCKY GIRL!" I bury my face in the palms of my hands not being able to control myself. I drum the bed with my hands and jump off the bed, running to the window with bare feet, the furry, beige carpet caressing my toes. The walls are painted with a warm colour. Then I run into the bathroom, and what do I see? Full-marble walls and floor, a shower and a luxurious bathtub. In the corner there's also a hot tub.
I can't believe my eyes. It's all so luxurious I nearly faint.

I leave my bag on the floor and jump on the bed again. Looking at the ceiling, I think about Matt. I really wish that he would be here, right next to me. I roll in the sheets remembering the scent I breathed in. Matt's scent. What will happen? I still don't know. Do I want more? Did I want more? What does Matt want? The questions buzz in my head. Then I remember the feeling I had right after the gig. That this night wouldn't have a typical ending. How fucking right I had been. And the best part is that the night has just begun.

Then there was a knock on the door.
