A Witch's Mate

Chapter Ten

I've gone around for the past hour burning things and smashing things against walls and floors with my powers. That slimy son of a bitch has the girls and God knows what he's doing to them.

I'm so pissed right now and my magic is the only way that I'm able to release that anger.

If I find Alec again I am going to rip him limb from limb then set him on fire while he can still feel. I don't give a shit if it's over kill everything he has done makes him deserves more than what I'm threatening.

"Alyssa, please calm down." Zander says from behind me.

"Calm down? How can I calm down when I know that blood sucking prick of a prince is behind every kidnapping that ever happened in my tribe. God only knows what he's doing to the innocent children. Zander the youngest was four! Four for Christ sake! He wants me and I know he'll start kidnapping you pack member to get what he wants and what he wants is me and my power! Vampires are blood thirsty and power thirsty! They'll take what they can get and getting me hits both their wants with one shot. Don't you get it! We're all in danger if I stay." I say to him freaking out and I know the ends of my hair have ignited into flames. My temper is high and I can't bring it down.

"If you leave then you'll be in danger." Zander growls.

"One for the many." I shout back.

"That's not an option." I snarls.

I pace back and forth trying to calm myself but it only makes things worse. I flash outside into the yard.

Zander walks out of the house and when he sees me he visually calms.

"There's this things about being the prophecy witch. I had a trainer. Ray was his name and he taught me everything I know. But I have a feeling he thought I was part of a different prophecy than I am. I did some reading up one night when I was alone in my room. I found that the prophecy I was told I am part of, well I am missing a crucial aspect of that prophecy, Im not part wolf, not only am I part of a different prophecy but I'm destined to give birth to that next prophecy. You see, this prophecy that I really am part of, well if I focus hard enough I can use any power. I have access to every power you could think of plus more. But with power comes madness and I don't want to go down that road. My mission is to save those girls before Alec harms them any further and then kill that bloodsucking prick so he can hurt anyone else." I say almost calmly as I levitate into the air.

Every word I said was true. I don't see how my parents could miss that one crustal part of information in that prophecy.

With everything that has happened in this past day or two, well it's a lot to handle and I don't know how I'm going to regain my composure. The power I have inside has been growing ever since I found out which prophecy I really belong to. Well I let the people in my tribe continue to believe who they thought I was. I have a feeling Ray knew too. He just didn't say anything to me about it. He trained with me, he could feel my power. I'm almost positive he knew.

"Alyssa, we will do everything we can o get those girls back home but please, I need you here with me. Please." Zander sounds so defeated.

I land on my feet and I feel sorry for all that I've put him through. I just really want Alec dead and in pieces.

"I'll stay but we need to figure out how to save them together before the next full moon or I go alone."

"Deal."

Ha, so what do you think? Big twist there. She did she sound a little bipolar to you closer to the end? Anyways, I plan on updating this book every Monday from now on during summer and maybe some surprise updates here and there.
