Song: Heathens - Twenty One Pilots (anyone else fucking obsessed with this song?)

"Have you ever realized that if you and Jeremy got married, your name would be McKenna McKinnon?"

"No, Neil. I can't say I have."  I chuckled.  "But now that you mention it, if Jeremy and I ever get married, I'll hyphenate."  I slid into the booth next to him and kissed his cheek.

"What's your middle name?" Josh asked, sliding in across from us, Alex on his other side.

"Ann."  I replied, giving him a curious look.  "Why?"

"Ha. If you hyphenated your initials would be 'M.A.R.M.'  You should definitely hyphenate, I'd laugh every time I heard your name."

"What are we talking about?"  Jeremy asked as he and Danielle sat down around the table, Kevin and Adam after them.

"McKenna's name if you guys got married."  Alex answered.

"It would be...haha..McKenna McKinnon. That's awesome."  Jeremy chuckled.  Danielle playfully slapped his arm.  "What? We're not actually getting married."

It's been a week since Neil and I started dating.  I could say with 100% certainty that this was the happiest I had been since my boyfriend cheated on me with my best friend and kicked me out of my own band.  I don't know if it was because of Neil or if things were really just working in my favor, but regardless, I was happy.

I still thought about Jeremy a lot.  I still found myself envious when he and Danielle would kiss or hold hands or just be a cute couple in general.  But every time that happened I would look to my left or my right I would find Neil, and I'd be okay with everything again.

My mom still didn't know about Neil.  We fly back to the US today, where we would be taking a week off from touring, I would be returning home, and would be telling her about him.  I know she'd like him, I just know I'll get lots of shit for not telling her the second it happened, and for not "bringing him around so I can cook him a meal and get to know him."

"What can I get you all to drink?"  The waiter brought me from my thoughts.  We told him our order and he rushed off.

"So, Mikey, I have a very serious question for you."  Josh began.

"Shoot."

"Will you, McKenna Ann Rhodes-McKinnon, aka MARM, be my pillow on our flight to the U.S?"

"I would love nothing more."

The waiter returned with our drinks and took our order.  When he got to me he had a particularly smug grin and with a thick German accent said, "and what can I get for the beautiful girl?"

I looked to my left at Danielle, waiting for her to tell him her order so I could order mine.  I was hungry. "I think he's talking to you, McKenna."

"McKenna, what a beautiful name."  He had that same grin on his face.  He was pretty cute, but I was taken and he lived in another country than I did.

"Uh, thanks.  I'll just have the omelette please."  I smiled back politely.

"Of course."  He turned to Danielle and took hers and everyone else's order, then with a not-so-subtle wink in my direction, rushed off again.

"He was...friendly." I said once he had gone.

"Yeah, a little too friendly if you ask me."  Neil mumbled, tucking his arm behind me and hooking his hand on my side, drawing me in closer to him.

"Are you jealous, Westfall?"  I teased.

"Nah."  He grinned and took a sip of his beer.  "He can flirt with you to his heart's content."
