Today was my first day of high school, this was supposed to be my time to shine. I was done with being the shadow of our future Alpha Kol. He used to be my only friend until summer came and he met his so called mate Lizeth. Now he made me the laughing stalk of the pack, not even being future beta helps this torture. The only people who do talk to me are my best friends. Alana her twin brother Nathan and Kathryn. We were currently at study hall playing around just the normal stuff.
"Sophie hello! Babe, baby, Sophia Marie Loe!" My oh so amazing boyfriend yelled
"Nate what? Can't you see I'm getting a head start of this stupid autobiography I have to do." I snapped back
"Really babe an autobiography I thought only famous people have those"
"Nathan I am going to become famous for something one day. I can feel it! Even my wolf can feel it. Just wait!" I answered jumping up from my chair. In that exact moment my heart stopped I felt a strange pull and an amazing sent filled my nose.
"I know that look, crap I'm about to loose you" Nate whispered more to him self then I. Alana and Kathryn looked at each other then from Nate to I. We all knew this was the moment my heart will break and be replaced all at once. Don't get me wrong I'm excited to find my mate its just I was hoping it would be Nathan.
"You have to be fuck!ng shitt!ng me! Sophia really why her?" We all heard a whiny voice behind us. Great I know who's voice that is, its Lizeth.
"Kol" I greeted turning around slowly to the culprit with the amazing sent.
"Listen Soph this can't happen between us. I'm in a committed relationship with Elizeth and you are with him. So let's make this quick, after I started dating Elizeth, you changed. You're weak, you don't shift anymore your glow died. you're not even beta material any more. After your mom died you're not appealing anymore. So I Kol future Alpha of Nebula reject you as beta and my mate" Kol angrily stated.
"Plus you're not worth his time." Lizeth added. I was quite, this bastard had the nerve to reject me?
"You know what else died? Love dies young all the time, did you actually think I'd be affected by your excuse of a rejection Kol? Sorry to bust you're bubble but fuk you Future Alpha of Nebula." I replied walking away flipping him off in the process.
"What! You can't do this I just started high school!" I yelled at my dad. He was currently saying how I would benefit my life by going to this Elite School for Wolves.
"Honey just think about it okay. It will help you fight, and be one with your wolf. Plus it will get you away from Kol"
Did I want to leave my pack, my friends and family behind? The rejection did hurt my wolf a little I on the other hand learned never to cry for unimportant things.
"I can't leave dad, I think it's best I stay" I replied after thinking about it, living on the other side of the word for seven year's it's too far.
"I knew you would say that but I'm your father and until you're 21 then I say what goes. Sophia you're going to Australia if you like it or not."
