Better off on my own

Just wanted to let everyone know I am extreamly sorry for the late update I have been sick with the flu and the weeks before that my daughter was sick, I went on vacation and I know its just excuse after excuse but truthfully I am sorry.

On another note I want to thank @CareBearz123 for being my first comments ever for that I dedicate this chapter to her everyone go read her book Destiny it is amazing. I loved it and also go follow her she seems super sweet. So here is goes my newest chappy 

Better off on my own 

I woke up feeling refreshed as if yesterdays worries were long gone. I was happy, and felt better then I have in months. I was walking to the pack house with Taylor going over the agenda for the week. We were invited to Nebula's grand Winter Ball, it was a ball where unmarked wolves would get a chance to find the one mate they were destined to be with. Yadda yadda yadda

"What if I find my second chance mate?" Tay was asking more to him self then I. 

"That would be a miracle I didn't ever thing that was possible" I replied walking down the street

"You never know it can happen Soph. What would you do if Pat finds a mate?" He asked in all seriousness. I never thought about that. What if he did find that one girl, would I be selfish and demand him to stay with me?

"I don't know. I mean it would suck were getting married after all" I replied

"That would suck you know, I would be pissed off if that happened to me" He pushed on

"Yeah it would" I quietly said as we walked up to the massive front doors. Pushing the door bell I got an uneasy feeling in my head as if something was wrong.

"Rouges" Taylor said reading my mind. I zoned in on the voices on the inside and about a mile around, I heard screaming and crying. Taylor and I rushed to the pack and when we got to the field we seen a full on battle with the pack and a pack of rouges. Taylor quickly informed everyone to bring help and shifted. I end up rushing to the fight full speed. Attacking rouges as they charged at me, I started to take hearts out of the nasty beasts, and hitting their heads off with one swift punch. 

"Sophia!" I heard someone scream as I turned around a big black wolf with red eyes and foam at the mouth was snarling at me. 

"Well it looks like you found me, here to kill me yet?"I asked as the wolf growled at me everything seemed in a daze as if it was only us two.

"Lance what do you want from her?" Taylor interrupted my thoughts. The wolf before me switching into his human form.

"You already know Taylor now step aside and let me talk to her"

"Over my dead  body you will" Kol growled 

"Ah the mate makes an appearance, you know I was starting to think my darling Sophia was going to end up with Patrick after all they do make a cute couple. I mean when I first saw them together it was on her birthday. That's when we killed half of her school."

I couldn't listen to his horrid voice any more, I was tired of running from him and training because of him. Whats the point in being feared if you are scared yourself? Today was going to end and I was the only one who could end this battle right now. No more blood shed, no more fear. It's now or never. I quickly ran and jumped into the air switching into my beautiful wolf. I rammed him in the stomach making him fly in the air. He quickly jumped back up to his feet red in his eyes, he was indeed angry for maybe the stupidest disicion of my life. Maybe I am better off alone I wont hurt anyone in the cross fire any more.
