Chapter 8

Everything before me changed, from the place I was where I was surrounded by a beautiful lake and all the stars where visible from above changed to a small room where there where only two chairs placed facing each other and I was sitting on one of them while a different man was sitting on the other chair right in front of me, his sight was fixated on mine,

"Are you awake now?" the man said right after I laid my eyes on him,

"Whe...Where am I?"

"You are right where you need to be, Rever"

"Wh-What do you mean? Who are you?How do you know my name?" I started to examine his face and I see that he actually looks a lot like me, he had long black hair and the same eyes as mine, they where bright red, it almost seemed they glowed, he had a very enthusiastic expression,

"It's kind of sad that my own son doesn't know who I am, but if you really want to know who I am... My name is Adam, I am your father Rever." he had this smirk on his face showing just how confident about what he had just said, but, I just couldn't believe him, my father?, Scarlet did say he wanted to meet me, and she did say she would take me to see him but I couldn't completely trust her, how could I just trust someone I just met, but what if he really is my father even though he looks very young, a little to young to even be a father he almost looks my age,

" You are lying... there is no way you could be my father... you are just a fraud... you  just want to trick me or something... how can I believe you... all of this just doesn't make any sense..."

"Just a fraud...yeah... I'm just a fraud... So everything we did 13 years ago was just a lie?" 

"What are you talking about? If you didn't know my father left my mother before I was born, I have never seen nor have I ever talked to him"

"So that's what you remember... You really are an idiot" the man claiming to be my father slowly stood up from his chair and took a few steps forward then blaming his hand on the chair where I am sitting, "Rever...Do I look familiar to you" his expression changed completely to one that seemed very serious and intimidating,

"Um... you do remind me of myself...but other than that... I don't feel like I have ever seen you"

"Is that so... So that bastard really did alter everything."

"Who altered what?"

"Rever, It's up to you to believe me or not whether I am your father or not, but I did want to talk to you about something..."

"No!" I rapidly stand up almost hitting the man's face with my own "I won't listen to anything you say before you tell me what the hell is really happening here" I was desperate, the only reason I came here was to get answers about my father and about whatever is happening,

"We don't have time fore your stupid questions"

"And I don't give a dam about whatever you want to talk about!!" he felt silent and so did I, "If you won't tell me anything ill be going, I go past him and head over to the door at the end of the room but before I could even lay my hand on the door knob,

"Wait!!" the man shouted, I turned to face him but he was already glaring at me, he looked desperate, just like me, the face he had looked pretty much like mine when I really wanted to know what was happening, we where both desperate, we where both looking for something, we are both looking for answers, "You know... You really are stubborn... You remind me of her...your mother..."

"Well I did live alone with her for 8 years..."

"Rever...  I think I didn't introduce myself correctly... my name is Adam... you might say I am the first man to ever live in this godforsaken world... Iv'e lived here for so long I can't even remember how long it has been since I first came here..."

"What are you saying?"

"Are you familiar with the names Adam and Eve from the "Book of Genesis"?"

"Ummm....no...?

"Really?"

"It is said, it still hasn't been made clear, that the first humans to live where this two humans, Adam and Eve"

"Wait! So you are saying you are...How old?"

"I'm not even sure myself, But I remember it perfectly, the day I was first introduced to the Garden of Even, the first time I laid my eyes on something, It was such a beautiful place but everything fell to the ground once we committed our first sin...?

"We?"

"Yes, It was me and Eve."

"Who was this Eve?"

"Your mother... Rever..."

"No...Way... what in the world are you talking about? I can't understand a thing you are saying, You, my mom, lived since the beginning of time?"

"Yes..."

"So that means I am super old!" he laughed, he was laughing at what I just said'

"No, that's not true, you where born normally 16 years ago?

"Then that means you have been together for a lot of time"

"Not necessarily, she committed a sin that could never be repaid, she was taken by Eilrahc the God of Sin..."

"Then Eve is not my real mother?"

"She is... But you could say she was a fraud..."

"A fraud?"

"I created her with my own hands out of guilt, because of me she committed  that sin, it was because of me she was taken away from me" tears started to roll down his cheeks "It took me forever trying to bring her back to me... but in the end it worked... in a way... I basically created a copy of her an incomplete copy... but I was just glad I got to see her again... but after a while things started to feel...weird... everything inside me started to feel empty... everything I have done started to sink in... I wasted all my life trying to find a way to bring her back but it all ended up a failure... I just ended up creating a fraud... I couldn't take it anymore so I-"

"Abandoned her!!" I was so mega pissed right now, I don't know why but I actually believed him, It just felt so real, his emotions, everything he said sounded real, "I still don't understand shit about what is happening, but what you just said made me so mad. You felt guilt because it was your fault she was taken away by this Eilrahc, so you decided to waste you're whole life to create a fake, how can someone in their right mind do that... I know I wanted... the day she died, everything fell apart, I saw how everything started falling apart around me... I wanted her back... I didn't want to be alone anymore...but... I continued living my life like normal, of course I didn't forget her, in fact she was the only thing I thought of the whole time... but I still continued living my life and I don't regret it one bit... and I'm sure it's what my mom wanted... and I don't care if she was a fake... I loved her... and i'm sure you loved her to, I mean, you literally wasted your whole life trying to get her back... so why... why did you leave her!!!"

"You wouldn't understand..."

"We could've been together...you...me...mom... we could've been together like a real family..."

"I'm sorry... I guess I'm not like you..."

"What do you mean?"

"Well... I don't live in a lie like you do..."
