Chapter 18

"What a coincidence! Never thought I would meet you here of all places, Rev." 

"Same here!" Gan?, what in the world? I would have never thought he was Elne's friend, guess he met him when I didn't even know Elne,

"Um... Do you guys know each other?" he was surprised seeing us act so familiar, he must be pretty confused,

"I met him last night, he is the dude I was talking about yesterday." that means that Gan already told Elne about what happened last night, well, only the part when we where being chased,

"Oh! Really? So it was you Rever?"

"Hmm... Well... yeah" I didn't know what to say, this meant that Elne knows at least a part of what happened yesterday, but honestly, the part when I was chased is the event that I least care about, it is nothing compared to what happened with my father and Charlie,

"I sincerely didn't expected for you to come out of the hospital that fast." 

That's true, he was so beat up yesterday, did he somehow escape from the hospital without anyone noticing? Do his parents know?

"Well... I kinda ran away from the hospital, hahaha" 

Seriously!! Why in the world is he taking it as a joke? What if his parents find out? He'll be in big trouble! He could hurt himself!

Elne exhaled tiredly "You always do stuff like that... You'll make July mad again..." he sounded exhausted but not the slightest bit worried, is he used to this? 

"Well, she didn't even know that I was in the hospital, she doesn't know I'm here either, hehe"

"Then why are you even here! Won't she worry!" how can this two be so nonchalant about this,

"Oh don't worry about her, she'll never notice"

"........." Guess i'll leave it at that, there is no use in asking more,

"So where are the others Bunpa?"

"B-Bunpa?" who the hell is Bunpa?

"G-Gon! How many times have I told you to not call me that!!!" Wow, this is my first time seeing Elne this flustered, he looked like he was about to cry,

"Haha I'm just playing around, no need to get so mad." his cheerful atitude almost reminds me of Charlie, but except Gon doesn't sound to sinister, just plain immature(Just like Koda)

"Since when do you two know each other?"

"Hmm... well Gon and I have been friends since we where in kindergarten" he didn't seem flustered at all right now, he changed back to his relaxed smile,

"Wooo... No wonder you guys seem so close"

"Ha, we are like brothers!" announced Gon as if it was something to brag about.

The three of us then head up to Elne's room and wait for the others to come, we talked about stuff that happened at school, we started fooling around, make jokes, you know, typical stuff.

"Weird... Why is everyone so late?" said Gon with a face that expressed his unsettling feeling.

"You'r right, it's not like them to be two hours late." else agreed with a slightly worried face.

"Then we just call them" It was the only suggestion I could give.

"Yeah you're right" Elne took out his phone and searched through his contacts until he found Koda's name and dialed it.

Beep Beep Beep Beep

No one answered. Something was wrong, Koda always answered his phone. Did something happen to him on his way here. But the weirdest thing is that nobody answered Elne's call, no one.

"This is real weird" Elne sounded very afraid and disturbed by this situation,

"We should probably go find them, they can't be that far away, right?" Gon proposed,

"Guess it's the only thing we could do right now..." this felt weird, there was this weird feeling in my stomach, I felt real sick. Something was wrong, this was not normal, the weird feeling in my belly felt much stronger whenever we got closer to the door. Something was about to happen, but I'm not sure. Thoughts of last night began to fill my head, it felt like I was subconsciously looking for something in my memories that I had forgotten. What is it? What is it? What is this!?

"Hey! Sis! We going out for a while, we'll be back soon!" called Elne, looking for an answer from his sister, yet he got nothing, "Hmm? Weird..."

"She is home, right?" asked Gon looking a little suspicious,

"Y-Yeah, I mean, if she wanted to go somewhere she would have told me..." his eyes started to get wider in fear by the second.

Why is this affecting him so much? Sure, it's creepy in all kinds of ways, but else seems a little to paranoid, "You OK buddy?" I asked Elne, placing a hand on his shoulder,

"Uhhu" he nodded, "Yeah, it's nothing, I just find this kind of freaky..." he calmed down a little and started to breathe slowly to sooth himself "I'm fine, let's just go look for the others,

The only way I could answer was with a nod. I also didn't know what was happening, and Gon also seemed a little creeped out. Everyone that was supposed to come by to Elne's house have been two hours late and Elne's sister is missing as well.

"It has already begun". A sudden flash of words echoed inside my head. Didn't Charlie say the same thing? What did he mean? Not only him, my father too, they both said the same thing last night...

No way... It couldn't... It has already begun...

"Wai-!"

But before I could even finish, someone knocked on the door,

"Ahh! It must be them, my sister probably went to look for them" Elne was relived, his worries have all disappeared. However, I knew it wouldn't last any longer...

"No don-!"

I couldn't finish, I was to late, Elne already opened the door, It was wide open and the person on the other side of the door was no human. Images of my mother lying in the floor covered in blood and my father being decapitated started to pop up in my head.

I then automatically yelled "CHARLIE!!!".

A tall figure stood there in the door, burnt skin, horn like things in his forehead, no clothes, no genitals, evil red eyes. I'm finally looking straight into his face, the real thing. The man I hate the most, the man that took everything away from me, Charlie!

"My My My, what horrible face you have, young one" his sadistic voice made me tremble, his tone making my skin crawl, "I'm pretty sure you know why I am here"

Both Gon and Elne started to take some steps backwards so that they could get as far away as possible, they'r shocked, bewildered by the hideous figure standing right on the entrance of the house "G-Go aw-away, Ch-Ch-Charlie" I'm trembling so much I could barley speak, my body was wrapped in fear,

"Nonono, I can't go away just yet, I have to take back what was first mine" he treated me like some sort of little kid,

"N-No!" 

"No? I never asked if you wanted to, I'm going to take back what is mine, even if you want to or not" he sounded much more menacing, in such a way that made me fear him even more,

He slowly walks inside the house towards me. I could feel his killer intent, he felt like a wild animal, with such an intimidating aurora.

"Hey!! Ugly Fuck!!" yelled someone from behind me, It's Gon.
