Chapter 1: Papa John's

4 years after the forming of the Hall...
Kris Tamillas POV
It was a Thursday, a normal pizza night in the Tamilla household. A large pepperoni pizza, two bags of bread sticks, and a two liter mountain dew, coming from the shop of Papa John's. A true privelage of a first world country. The news was on the TV... Child superstar Matthew Korloch busted yet again for marijuana possession. All his little buddies were arrested too. Fame... Look what it can do to you... He was only 17 years old. But that was his fault. People are dumb enough to do crap like that so whatever...
Ding!
"Oh, that must be the delivery man! I'll get it!" My mother would have never know the fate that was to come of me...
"Thank you sir, and here's a little something for yourself!"
She grinned at the man with her wrinkled, yet sweet face, and brought the feast into the dining room.
Little did she know what that pizza would bring to my life( besides a satisfying fusion of tomatoes, cheese, and bread).
I could tell that that pizza wasn't normal. It let off a different aura. 6 years of yoga had given me an understanding of the flow of energy and the universe.
But never could I detect what danger it brought...
"Alrighty! Kris it's your turn to eat the ceremonial first slice!"
"Mother, it would be an honor..."
I opened the box, revealing the ever so delicious, beautiful, and greasy delicacy to feast upon.
My hand touched the pizza.
"HOLY SHIT THAT'S HOT!!!! OH FUCK SOMEBODY GET SOME ICE MY HAND IS BURNING!!!!"
3 hours later
The doctor said that my hand was burnt to the point of no usage... First degree burns had demolished my hands.... And now... I would be an amputee.
They would replace my hand, with the newest technology they had. A hand that could be set on fire... A hand that might change the world.
Because of a Papa John's pizza, I would be the next member of the Hall...
