Chapter 8: He saved me

**I all of a sudden all my emotions hit, my stepdad knows about me running away. I'm in love with Grayson. My dad is dead because of me. Paige is going to get hurt somehow. "Everything is my fucking fault." I snapped. I walked over to the railing of the roof and I leaned over, I have a huge fear of heights. I felt a tear come down my face. "I'm so done, I can't be in love with him. He's going to get hurt, and I can't let that happen." I cried. I then walked over to the spot where there wasn't a railing and I looked over the ledge. An I put one foot over the ledge and it felt like something was telling me to do it. Myself. "Stop!" I voice called out and I felt arms wrap around my body and pull me onto the ground to safety. "What the hell are you doing?!" Shouted Grayson.**

**"I wasn't going to do anything I'm scared of heights and I just wanted a view!" I snapped pushing him away from me. "Then why the hell were you about to step off the ledge?!" He snapped. "Grayson please stop yelling a me." I sighed. "No because you could've just killed yourself Mackenzie!" Grayson snapped. "Yea I know!" I yelled back and then shock spread across his face, and then the same with me when I realized what I had said. I just ran away and down the halls to the elevator, heard Grayson's steps right on my heals. The elevator doors opened and I ran in and threw y back against the wall and then Grayson pushed me up against it with my arms pinned against the wall as he held me by my wrists. His face was inches from mine, and all I wanted to do was slap him for saving me and then kiss him. We didn't even say anything he just held me there and looked in my eyes like he was searching something in my eyes. "I don't care what happens to me, I want you." He said. "G-Gray-" I stuttered as my heart skipped a beat. "No don't say anything.." He said and then slowly started to lean in, and then his phone went off. "I uhm...I got to take this." He said grabbing his phone and letting go of me. "Yea Ethan I'll grab us all pizza tonight again." Grayson said. "No I wasn't doing anything I'm just tired dude." Grayson chuckled. "Alright bye." He said an then hung up. Then had a sharp pain in my ribs again and I got really dizzy from it, I fell against the wall trying to catch my balance. "Hey! Are you ok?!" Grayson said holding me up. "Yea I'm fine." I said holding my ribs. "No your not, come here." Grayson said picking me up in his arms. "Put me down I'm fine." I giggled. He obeyed and then set me on my feet. I wrapped my arms around him even though my ribs hurt, and he did the same. I'm falling for him so fast. Please he can fall for me, anyone but me!!!**
