The bike ride to school passed quickly

The bike ride to school passed quickly. I chained my bike to the rack and hurried inside the school building. Luckily, my mother hadn't made me too late, as Elise was still at her locker.

I walked past her slow enough to savor the moment, but fast enough that I wouldn't look suspicious. Her lovely, vanilla scent wafted off of her. The moment didn't last long and I quickly rushed to my own locker. I opened the locker and eyed the people hanging around my precious Elise.

Kaleb and Jayden, where are you? I promise I'll make your deaths short and sweet!

Suddenly, the boy with red hair, the one who woke me up yesterday, walked up to Elise and touched her. More specifically, he slapped her ass. The corner of my lips twitched in anger.

So which one are you?

I pulled out my phone and began to text my informant.

May I have pictures of Jayden and Kaleb?

The reply was instantaneous.

Unknown: Kaleb [file attachment] Jayden [file attachment]

Kaleb had soft blonde hair the colour of moon dust and striking green eyes. His round glasses did no more than showcase his intelligence.

Jayden, on the other hand, had chocolate colored eyes and a dimple on his left cheek. Oh, and did I mention that he had the same red hair as the kid who had just now touched my Elise? How lucky for me.

I smiled to myself and gathered my books. Right on time too, as Elise walked past me. I followed her, making sure she got to class safely. Once she reached her classroom, I rushed to my own.

As I entered the classroom, I noticed that Kaleb was in this class. He was doodling something on a piece of paper. I set my things at my desk before walking up to him.

"What are you drawing?" I asked, trying to sound interested. Kaleb jumped, studied me for a moment, then fixed his enormous glasses.

"Oh, it's for a girl," he muttered shyly.

I raised an eyebrow, "If you don't mind me asking, who?" Kaleb looked down at his paper and smiled.

"She has the softest, butterscotch hair I've ever seen and her eyes are always sparkling. Her laughter is like a thousand bells tinkling softly in the breeze and her smile illuminates my heart," Kaleb whispered, "Her beautiful name is Elise Varabond. Do you know her?"

My lips twitched once again, annoyed at how fondly he spoke of my Elise. I quickly masked the annoyance with a smile.

"Yes, I do," I answered sweetly.

She belongs to me. How could a master not know his own precious belongings?

Kaleb smiled, "May I ask you a favor, then?"

"Of course," I nodded, dreading his request.

"Could you give this to her? It would mean a lot to me," Kaleb folded up his paper and slid it towards me.

"How could I say no?" I smiled, choking on my anger. I took the paper in my hands.

"Thank you," Kaleb said.

"No problem," I shrugged before walking back to my desk. I opened the paper and looked at it.

There was a drawing of a girl sitting underneath a Sakura tree while the petals floated around her.

"Meet me by the Sakura tree at four o'clock after school. I'll be waiting for you."

I frowned before folding the paper back up.

It was a shame I would have to kill this lovesick puppy.
