"Mother!" I gulped, "I brought her here so that I could show you our love."
"I told you I was going to kill her," Mother growled, "Now give her to me."
Elise froze, "Tyler, p-please, don't let me die." I looked from my mother to Elise.
"Tyler, now," Mother thrust her hand towards me.
"I... I can't," I turned to my mother, "I can't let you have her."
"Excuse me? I think I misheard you," Mother hissed.
"No, you didn't. I'm keeping Elise," I stood between my mother and Elise. My mother glared at me before smiling widely.
"Then I'll just take her from you," she giggled, pulling a switchblade from the pocket of her robe.
Mother slowly made her way towards Elise and I. I panicked as she began lashing out and screaming a multitude of profanities at us.
Heart beating rapidly, I grabbed my mother's wrist and tried wrenching the weapon from her hand. Her own strength wasn't quite a match for my own. As soon as she realised what happened, her face changed.
"Tyler, please, listen to me. I'm your mother! Only I can truly love you!" Mother pleaded.
"Enough!" I screamed, "I'm sick of you, no wonder Dad left! Why is it every time something good comes around, you crush it!? I'm going to keep Elise, and you won't get in my way!"
Her blood rushed warmly over my hands as I plunged the knife into abdomen. Mother choked on blood and saliva, seemingly saying my name. Slowly, I let the blade tear down her stomach, letting her organs spill out.
Gently, I laid mother on the floor, tenderly kissing her forehead.
"Goodbye," I whispered before turning to my lovely Elise.
A smile crept over my lips, "Now, my darling Elise, we can be together forever."
