I was lead to the train, everyone in the square shooting me puzzled looks. The Mayor never loosened his grip on my wrist, as if he was afraid if he let go, I'd bolt away- which he probably expected. Sure I was nervous, but I was almost 100% positive that if I lived through these Games, I would come home and Prim wouldn't be there to welcome me home with her warm smile and gorgeous blue eyes. And if that happened, I would most likely never leave my room again and I would starve to death. I couldn't handle being without Prim anymore. I never could. I never would. The Mayor practically threw me on the train, peacekeepers coming up behind him to make sure I wouldn't run. I just sat down on the plush couch and sighed heavily. The peacekeepers and the Mayor looked at me weird. "I don't really... CARE if I die... I actually... WANT to..." I explained. "Why would you want that?" The Mayor asked, obviously confused. "Because... First it was my dad when I was 11. My little sister was all I had left and when she died..." I drew in a shaky breath and continued "I just... Spiraled into this... Really dark place that I can't get out of no matter how hard I try... So... I just... Can't stand being without her" I started to cry but quickly wiped away my tears. "Katniss... It's perfectly normal to miss your sister. But don't WISH to die. That's not a healthy way to live" the Mayor sighed, walking over and sitting down next to me. "I can't help it. Now if you'll excuse me" I responded, getting up and walking towards the bathroom. I heard the Mayor step off of the train. I reached the bathroom and locked the door once I was inside. I searched through the cabinet until I found what I was looking for- a razor.
N/A: SORRY SO SHORT. IDK, I JUST THOUGHT I WOULD END THE CHAPPY ON A SMALL LITTLE ITTY BITTY CLIFFHANGER.

Broken- A Hunger Games Fanfic
HorrorOk, so I know this concept of if Prim went into the Hunger Games has been done before, but I swear to God I am NOT copying ANYONE! If there are similarities or some parts that almost the same thing happens as another one- do not flip out on me- this...
