Chapter 1

Beep beep beep

I wake up from my annoying alarm. I lye in bed a little more longer. I love school, but to get up early in the mornings is a stress.

Knock Knock

I sigh.
"Yes dad I'm up".

I live in a huge family. My dad, my aunt, my grandparents and my Uncle. My mom died when I was 12. So I had to live here with them.

I stagger to my adjoin bathroom. I take off my clothes and step inside the bathroom. After ensuring to wash myself properly, I wrap a towel around my body and got ready for school. Soon I'm ready. I step outside and wait for my best friend, Shawn, to pick me up.

"You left your phone!" I turn to see my dad running up to me with my phone.

"Oh! Thanks Dad!" I said.

Beep beep

I look to see my best friend Shawn parking his car. Oops. I turn to see dad with an angry look on his face.
Oh boy.

"Didn't I tell you not to see this Shawny head boy anymore?" He asked.

"Oh come on Dad. He's my best friend. Why can't I have a best friend like a normal person?" I replied.

"I said I don't want to see you with him Jessica".
Before I could answer, he walked away.
I sigh and hop in the car.

"Whats up with him?" Shawn asked driving off.
Looking back I say,

"I guess he thinks I'm Fu*king with you."
Shawn laughed and said,

"You? Me? Oh shut up. You're 18 and you're still a virgin. Why would you even be interested to f*ck me?" He insulted.

"Shawn. I'm just not ready for sex yet. Stop mocking me! God!"
He laughed all the way to school non stop.
Many people could not believe that I'm still a virgin and that i never had a boyfriend before. Though I have had crushes, but apprehensive to speak to them. We arrive at school, I hurriedly jump out of the car and slam the door.

"Oh come on Jessica. I'm just playing with you." Shawn shouted.

"Yeah right" I shouted back.
I walk into the school building, spotting my friends, Tia and Lulu.

"Hey what's up?" I asked, smiling.

"Hey girl. Did you hear? Frank is throwing a party tonight. You should definitely come." Cried Lulu.
At the mention of Frank's name my heart flushed.

"Really. Oh my God! I should come".

"Are you kidding. You should! He will surely notice you. You have been crushing on him since forever." Tia commented.

"Of course I will come."

"Hey babe" We all turned to see Lulu's boyfriend, Jeff storming up to her. She screamed and he held her tight carrying her off her feet into the air, bringing her down, kissing her lightly on the neck. Somehow, I felt jealous. I just watched them with admiration. I stood there looking at Jeff. He had dark brown hair, greenish-grey eyes and a strong jaw line. Always giddy and neat. He smiled at me and I smiled back.

".......Jess..Jess...Jess"

I unfreeze out of my day dream and realised Tia calling me. I quickly snap my head away from Jeff and looked at Tia. She smirked and I got confused.

"Excuse us". Tia said pulling me away from Jeff and Lulu.
When we were at a good distance she spoke up,

"Tell me you are not crushing on Jeff!"
My jaw dropped. My eyes widen. My lips trembled trying to process what she just said.

"Wh....what no! Are you crazy? That's Lulu's boyfriend." I tried to say.

"Oh come on. You were staring at him since the minute he came. And he smiled at you and turned away and there, you got lost. You can't fool me. How can you like Lulu's boyfriend? She's your friend. Our friend "

"I swear. Tia, I don't like him. "

"Well you better be sure".

She walked away and left me there standing alone.
