Chapter 10

I looked down on my tummy. I then looked back at the doctor.

"What?" I said.

"I'll leave you alone to make your decisions". He said. He turned to leave.

"Wait...who could be the father?" Aunt asked the doctor.

"It should be Frank ". He left.

"No no no no! No all these things can't be tumbling down on me like this. "

I started to cry. I lay down. Everyone crowded me.

"Every one! Out! Out out out! Leave me alone." I shouted.

"Baby-" my grandma started.

"OUT!" I screamed. They turned to leave with saddened faces.

"Shawn. I need you here". I said to him. He came back to me.

"Thank you so much for sticking by my side." I said.

"Jessica....I...I...I need to tell you something." Shawn said holding my wrist.

"What is it?" A lump Started to form in my throat.

"Jessica... since A while now, I've been having.... strange feelings for you. At the party, it hurt to see you with Frank. I don't know what happened. Then when you told me what take place, I felt as if it was my fault. The day I cuddled with you I liked you more. I know you're my best friend but I really do need you Jess. Jessica I love you".

"Shawn ...I'm glad you feel that way cause that's the same way I was beginning to feel. " I said. "But please give me some time to think all this through".

He nodded. "Just remember I'm here for you. I'll pick you up in the morning."

He got up. "Bye bestie" he left.

I turned in the bed.

I'm pregnant. Frank's baby. What am I going to do. I don't want to abort this child. Its already growing inside me. Even when I had the coma. I love Shawn too. But he's my best friend. I'm so blind. I didn't even know Junior liked me too. I hope Shawn is different from Frank. You know what. I'm keeping this baby. I am going to tell Shawn I want him. I'm going back to school, whether am bullied or not.

Knock knock.

"Come in" I shouted.

Jeff came in with a bouquet of flowers. Oh wow.

"Jeff hey." I greeted him.

"Hey Jessica. You look well. I brought these for you". He said.

"Oh thank you so much." I thanked him.

"So how are you? Any broken bones? Any pain?" He asked looking concerned.

"I broke my leg and I sorta lost my memory. I fell into a coma and miraculously, I'm healed. "

"Wow! You should definitely give God your life. " I laughed.

"Yea. So what's with Lulu?"

"She.....Um...I left her..." he looked pained.

"What. Why?" I asked.

"She did a threesome with Tia and Frank and from what I see that she betrayed you, I end it with her. You know I really loved her."

"I'm so sorry Jeff. Some times people come in our lives to teach us a lesson. " I said trying to comfort him.

"Like how I want you in my life?" He said looking into my eyes.

"What?" I said wide eyes.

"I like you Jessica."

"Jeff I use to like you. But now, I'm no longer interested. I use to like you a lot but you were Lulu's boyfriend. I'm sorry, but I'd love to be your friend." I confessed.

"Wow. thanks for being honest..I like that about you." He said. I smiled and said,

"Thanks Jeff."

"So I guess I'll See you at school?" He asked.

"Yes. Today is Saturday. I'll be back in school By Monday. "

"OK see ya" he said standing saluting like a soldier.
We laughed.
