Chapter 12
I walk out of my tub. I dry off and enter my room. I am planning to give myself a new look. I slipped on a semi thigh dress and a spike heel. I let my hair up in a bun leaving a few hair in my face. I applied some mascara and and red lipstick. I grabbed my handbag. The family were downstairs waiting on me.
"I've got a job for you". Dad said.
"Really dad?"
"Yes, the boss said you will start today".
"Thanks dad. "
Shawn walked in.
We hugged.
"By the way we have a surprise for you".
Shawn nodded with the family. Aunt tied a kerchief around my eyes and led me outside.
"Are you ready?" Shawn asked.
"Yes yes yes". I shrieked.
He laughed and untied my eyes.
My jaw dropped.
"Oh my God! Oh my God! Dad aunt everybody?" I Shouted. "Thank you".
Right there, was a....
Pink king fish motor car.
My favourite color too.
I ran all around it jollily.
I hugged the family and kissed Shawn.
"Now I know why you taught me to drive, dad" I said laughing.
I hopped inside with Shawn and head off to school.
"I love it!" I screamed
"Me too baby". He said.
Soon we arrive at school. We came out. Everyone looked at us. Many were smiling.
When I entered the school, I was stunned.
"Welcome back Jessica Portman." The whole school shouted, even the staff. Pictures of me was on the walls. My name was all over the school .
"Oh my God! Thank you everyone. This is amazing".
"You're welcome. They said in Unison."
They gave Shawn and I way to pass.
"Isn't this great?" I asked him .
"Yes hun" he said smiling.
The rest of the day was spent talking to new friends and greeting others. I became popular . I went to work. It was good. I work in a clothes store being the cashier and acts as the supervisor at times
