Matt sighs and gets up from the couch, putting the psp in his pocket. " Not gonna argue with you... "
" Good, now hurry up before she wakes up... " Mello growled
You listened to everything while you pretended to sleep ' I wonder... '. you paused your thoughts as Matt gently picked you up bridal style and carried you to his car. ' what it is they don't want me to know... ' you finished your thought when you felt yourself being carefully placed in the back seat of the car. Matt gently closed the door so you wouldn't wake up, since he didn't know you were awake, then got in the driver's seat and started the engine. You slowly opened your eyes as soon as he started driving and pushed yourself up with your hands. He saw you moving in the rear-view mirror and asked " You ok? "
Silence filled the car for a few seconds as Matt waited for your answer. " I'm fine, thanks " you finally spoke up. He pulled out a cigarette and lit it, rolling down the window a little so that you didn't have to breathe it in. " Where do you want me to drop you off? " He said inhaling some smoke and then breathing it out.
You lowered your head slightly " Anywhere is fine "
he nodded, finishing his cigarette and smashing it in an ashtray.
" Um..Matt..when can I take this off? " You looked down at your bandaged wound.
" You'll feel when you need to " He stopped the car. You were about to leave when he stopped you by stretching out his hand, holding a piece of paper. " Can't let a cute girl like you, leave without my number " he smirked. You stared at it for a second but then took it and looked at Matt. " Thank you for bothering to help me "
" No problem, I mean I can't let a girl like you die, now can I? " He smirked again.
You blushed a little at his response. " I'm gonna go... " You said shyly. He just pouted " So I'm not getting a kiss on the cheek or anything? "
You sighed trying to rid the blush and leaned in, kissing his cheek. You pulled back quickly " happy? "
" As soon as I get a kiss here too " He smirked pointing to his lips. You shook your head no " I know what you're going to do, so I'll kindly decline "
He pouted and sighed " aw what a shame...well I'll see you around, don't get yourself in trouble again, I don't want to find you dying again " He laughed.
You laughed and exited the car. You watched him smirk at you, lighting a new cigarette and then driving off. ' how does he not have lung cancer yet... ' You sighed and started walking aimlessly around the city. Your stomach growled a few minutes of walking later, begging for food. " great... " you grunted. ' I better start hunting before I'm too weak to move... ' You thought sticking the piece of paper Matt gave you under the bandage to make sure you didn't lose it. You turned into an alley and started speed walking through it. Soon, the taps of your shoes were replaced with taps of bare, F/C ( fur color ) paws. Even in your wolf form the bandage was still there, wrapped around your chest.
***a half an hour later***
You have wandered around the city for what seems like 30 minutes, but sadly you couldn't find any food. ' I should rest somewhere for now and continue the hunt at night... that'll be safer... ' you thought and started to look for a place to rest for the day.
A/N: Ok...I know the chapter is really short and all but...I defeated the writer's block...kind of...not really...yeah yeah whatever atleast I got a chapter done :3
