The past week had been rather busy in general. My stepdad's birthday was this past week, so was my interview and shoot for It! magazine as well as more wedding preparations. I had also done a ton of appearances for Catch Cosmetics with Tiana.

Summer had ended a long time ago and now the fall was in full force which marked the quickly approaching date of the wedding.

I was grateful for the quiet Saturday morning I was having. After a long hot shower where I'd washed my hair twice for the fun of it, I got into some sweat pants and big hoodie, ready to have a John Green movie marathon, as if movies that made me cry was what I needed.

I made a big bowl of popcorn, some hot chocolate and took a pack of cookies from the kitchen. I migrated to the couch with a blanket, ready to have my lazy day.

I started my John Green movie marathon off with Paper Towns, I'd never watched it before and the way Arianna had fangirled about it I was pretty excited to give it a go.

It was safe to say that by the end of the movie I, too, was now a fangirl. It was a fantastic movie and I was actually quite impressed with Cara Delevingne's performance. The girl was a stunning model but an even better actress.

I took a quick bathroom break before coming back to the absolutely heavenly couch to start with my next movie, The Fault In Our Stars.

I had watched the movie many times before and every time it managed to make me cry. Nevertheless I went ahead, starting Augustus and Hazel Grace's romance right from the beginning.

As the movie neared its end, I had a tissue in my hand, ready to wipe away any stray tears. I sniffed softly as the dreaded phone call came in. That moment in the movie always got to me, no matter how many times I watched it, it broke my heart every time.

I jumped a little as my cell phone rang. I groaned, pausing right in moment when Hazel was crying in her bed. Shailene Woodley had one of the most heart-breaking sobs in that scene and the fact that it had no sound but was still so heart wrenching put her into my book of incredible actresses.

"Hello?" I muttered.

"Kylie?" Mckenzie's voice came through.

"Yeah, what's up?"

"Listen, Kelly from the bridal store was such a darling and she drove up here to bring the dresses and to see if anyone needs any last minute alterations so she can go make the changes if necessary and have the dresses back on time. Could you please just quickly drop by and try your dress on one last time?" she asked. I had a feeling that she was telling me rather than asking.

"Sure." I replied. "I'll be there in thirty."

"Great! See you then." She hung up and I groaned loudly. This was not part of my lazy Saturday plans.

I reluctantly rose from the couch, switching the TV off. I had to clean up all the popcorn on the floor and all the cookie crumbs that had made it onto the couch. My movements were very sloth-like, especially as I went to my bedroom to look for decent clothes.

After searching for a good five minutes I gave up and decided that my sweatpants were good enough, I just exchanged the oversized hoodie for a decent one. I put on a pair of sneakers and undid my messy bun, putting my hair up into a ponytail.

There was a definite chill in the air as I left my apartment building, indicating that winter was not too far away. I got into my car and drove to Mckenzie's apartment. As I drove, I saw trees shedding their leaves as their branches swayed lightly in the autumn breeze.

I parked outside the building and ran inside, getting into the elevator. I went up to Mckenzie's floor and then to her apartment door. I knocked and could hear chatter on the other side of the door.
