Thomas was with Teresa when I told her that things didn't work out with Brad. She makes sure she doesn't tell Thomas that I like Newt, but she still manages to ask questions about him without saying his name.
"Y/n, do you know what's up with Newt?" Thomas asks.
"No. Why?"
"Seriously? I thought that you'd know. No one else seems to have any answers."
"We haven't talked in a few days. What's going on with him?"
"Whenever I ask about Cara he gets really weird. He refuses to talk about anything even remotely related to her."

"Um, when I told him about my date with Brad I mentioned him being too good to be true and Newt kind of spaced out. He just said he had to do something, so I left. It was really weird. I haven't seen him since"
"Can you ask him? He won't talk to the rest of us."
"I've tried calling him, but he keeps sending me to voicemail."
"He sent you to voicemail? Something weird is definitely going on."
