Chapter 4//After school

Today was GREAT! I had a few classes with Laurance, and with Garroth. We had Art, P.E, and Writing. They are really cool guys, Garroth seems a little shy but Laurance is just a goof ball! We can both make terrible puns with one another, finally! When school ended, me and Teony walked out of the doors laughing. "L-Laurance is just too funny!" I try to say and fight back the laughter. "Oooooooooooo! Do you like himmmmmm?" Teony teased and my face felt hot for some reason?
I realized I was blushing and I covered my face with my hands, "N-N-No I don't! He is just a friend!" Teony gasped, "You do! Or else you wouldn't be blushing!"

"I-It's just that you got me flustered with that question, could you blame me?!" I felt as if I was going to stutter, though... Laurance is kinda cute.. Wait, what am I saying?! He's my friend!

"Mhmm.. And I can fly." Teony teased and I gave a playful growl.

"Oh shut it." I sighed and laughed. I looked around and saw Laurance hanging with Garroth and Dante. Teony looked at me and sighed, "Hey I got to go, I'll see you tomorrow, remember we are meeting at the ice rink after school!" She walked off and I sighed, I suck at ice skating! Oh well, I'll get better sooner or later. I walked over to the fountain, Mom had to pick me up and was late apparently. In the corner of my eye I could see Garroth and Dante talking to Laurance and pointing at me for some reason. I shrugged it off until Laurance came walking up to me, he gave a sigh and gave a nervous laugh, "Hey A-Aph.." He said and I smiled at him, "Hey Laurance! Do you need anything?" I ask him and he gives a sigh.

"A-Actually I wanted to give you my number. In case if you ever wanted to talk, that is!" His cheeks grew a small shade of pink and I smiled at him warmly, "O-Oh. Of c-c-course! You can just put it in my phone, and I can put my number in yours?" He gave a nod and handed me his phone and I handed him mine.

Once we put our numbers into each other's phones and handed them back, there was an awkward scilence. "W-Well.. I'll see you tomorrow." Laurance said to me and I blushed a little. "Y-Yeah, b-bye Laurance!"

//That was weird..// I thought and sighed. I saw Laurance, Garroth, and Dante walk off and I watched them go.

"Well, well, well. Here is the small freshman messing with my man! Nya~!"

My heart started to pound faster at the sound of that voice. It scared me for a second and I quickly turned around and saw a meif'wa with light purple hair and green eyes, glaring me down. //What in the name of Irene is she talking about?// I thought.

"Uhm, what?" I questioned.

"You are flirting with my man! Nya! I highly suggest you don't be near him nor talk to him!" She yelled at me, and I am still so confused! Who is she and who is her, 'man'?

"Wha? Anyway.. Who are you and what are you talking about?" I ask her, and she seems to be getting annoyed.

"I am Michi, and I saw you put your number in Laurance's phone! He is mine, and mine only!" She shouted at the top of her lungs with the last part. //Wait.. Laurance has a.. Girlfriend?// I questioned in my mind.

"First of all, he asked for me to give him his number and he wanted to give me his number anyway! Second, are you two even dating? Does he even love you?" I remarked with a sassy hairflip and she looked around for a second and I found that kinda odd.

"How can I believe that excuse, and no we aren't, but he will learn to love me like the way I love him! And also.." She hit me in the chest and I fell to the ground. //Ow! What the hell!?// I wanted to shout that out, but I didn't want to bring attention to myself. "That is for even trying to question me about our love." She smacked me in the face with her tail and I'll admit, it did hurt..

Once I got home, my chest and face started to hurt much more than it did when Michi hit me. "Mom.. I'm hom-" I was cut-off when I found my mom lying on the couch with a alcohol
bottle in her hand.

//This day is just great! First I get hit in the chest then smacked in the face, now my mom's drunk!// I sigh and storm up to my room and slam the door behind me. My mom is a bitch when I'm home but out in public, she acts as if she is the best mom in the world! I throw my backpack on the floor and lay on my bed and close my eyes. All of a sudden, my phone goes off and I open my eyes and looked at my phone.

Laurance: Hey Aph! How are you?

Aphmau: Uhm..Hey Laurance! I'm okay I guess..

Laurance: ??
Want to talk about it?

Aphmau: No, it's fine really.

Laurance: ? Well.. Okay, if you say so.. Hey, about tomorrow we head out to the park? Maybe it could up your cheers! ;D

Aphmau: Heh, that be ICE of you! X3

Laurance: XD Here we go with the puns!

Aphmau: LOL, but I'm afraid I can't, I was going to the Ice rink with Teony tomorrow :c

Laurance: Heh, it's alright! Maybe we could go another day this week and just CHILL out? ;3

Aphmau: X3 Sure! I'd love to, that sound /pun/!

Laurance: LOL, alright! See you tomorrow at school!

I put my phone down and I sighed, "If only Michi wasn't there, it would be so much easier!" I groaned and got some PJ's and went into the bathroom to change since I wasn't going to headout tonight.
