Chapter 16//A new student

As me and Laurance walked back in the direction we went, I seen Aaron on the floor with everyone crowding him.

"I hope he got what he deserved.." I whispered to Laurance. "I am sure he did." He whispered back.

"Aphmau! Laurance!"

We both turn around to see the others. As they approached us, I hear Teony say, "Aph! Are you okay?"

I take in a deep breath and smile, "Y-Yeah.. I'm fine.." I respond. "Can we not talk about what happened, I'm still shaken up about all of that.."

"Of course.. But we might as well go into the building. While you two were gone, apparently this is going to be a short day." Kiki told us.

Odd.. I thought but shrugged it off and we walked into the school. "I'm going to go to my locker real quick, just gonna get something out of there." I told them and they nodded.

I walked down the halls and into the hall where my locker was in and once I got there, I opened my locker to get what I needed.

"Oof!"

I heard someone fall and I looked past my locker and seen a girl with blonde hair, blue eyes and pointy ears on the floor with Michi standing behind her.

"Nya!~ You are so weak!" She laughed.

I clinched my fists and shut my locker and walked up to Michi, "Get out of here, Michi.. And leave her alone!"

Michi looked at me in disgust, "What!?" She began. "You're back!? After two months!?"

"Uh, yeah! I seen you in the crowd earlier, didn't you see me with Laurance and them?!" I snapped at her. I seen her ears hit the back of her head and her tail fur was bristling. "No! I was talking to Ivy, Lilian, Lily, and Alex!"

"Whatever, now," I continued, "Go."

She stuck her nose up in the air and walked off, she looked pretty stupid as she walked off... I glanced down at the other girl and I walked up to her.

"P-P-Please! Don't h-hurt me!" She begged and I moved up to her and put my hand in her shoulder. "Hey.. Hey... I promise I won't hurt you." I told her and she looked up at me with a smile.

"R-Really..?" She asked and I nodded.

"Oh! I haven't introduced myself yet, I'm Aphmau but you can just call me Aph if you want. What's your name?" I introduced myself as I stood up and held my hand out for her to help her up.

"Zoey, my names Zoey.." She grabbed my hand and I helped her up. "It's nice to meet you Zoey." I said and she looked at me with a smile. "S-So her name was M-M-Michi..?" Zoey asked and her smiled faded.

I sighed and glared in the direction that Michi went. "Yep. She is the snot-face of the school... Thinking she is just so perfect.. But, I don't think I've seen you here before.. Are you new?" I replied and she nodded.

"Yeah, I just transferred from Meteli, but I am surprised you found out!" She said and I got a confused look on my face.

"Huh?" I said and she just smiled a tad and continued.

"Michi said you were gone for two months.. So I am surprised you realized. And I want to ask something if you don't mind, why were you gone for two months?" Zoey said and I glanced down at the floor for a second then looked back into her blue eyes. "I-I.. I was in the hospital, but I don't want to go into detail about it if you don't mind." I said and she nodded.

"I understand." She replied and I smiled, "Thank you, but hey. If you ever want to hangout, you can hangout with me and my friends!"

Zoey's face seemed to glow once she heard me say that and she nodded, "Of course!" I smiled to this, "Well, I'm going to head down to the cafeteria for a little bit before the bell rings," I began, "you can come with me if you want!"

"I'd love too!" She said and we then began walking down to the cafeteria. Once we got down there we seen Michi glaring at us and we shrugged it off.

I spotted Laurance and them and looked back at Zoey, "We can go talk to my friends if you want to." I said and she nodded shyly. I smiled to that and we walked over to them.

"Hey guys!" I said and they all turned around and smiled. "Hey Aph." Nicole said and Kawaii~Chan came up and hugged me. I smiled and hugged her back. We then separated and Kawaii~Chan looked at Zoey.

"Aphmau~Senpai, who is she?" She asked and Zoey waved a little bit.

"H-H-Hi.. I'm Zoey... I'm new here..." Zoey said quietly and the others smiled warmly at her.

"Nice to meet you, Zoey!" Nicole said with a smile. "My names Nicole and these goof balls are Kawaii~Chan, Teony, Katelyn, Kiki, Lucinda, Garroth, Dante, and Laurance."

Zoey blushed as she looked at Garroth and she quickly looked away once he looked at her. "It's nice to meet you all!" She said as she turned back to look at them with a smile.

We heard the bell go off and we all groaned in annoyance, even Zoey did. "Well, we better get going," Garroth said and looked at me and waved, "See you all at Lunch."

He walked off with Lucinda, Katelyn, Teony, Kiki, and Dante.

"Well, let's go Aphmau~Senpai, Nicole~Sama, Zoey~Chan!" Kawaii~Chan said as she bonded off happily as the other two followed her. I looked at Laurance and he walked up to me and smiled, "See you later, Aph." He give me a small peck of a kiss and walked off to his hallway.

I waved at him as he turned around once. I felt a slight blush crawl on my cheeks and I felt eyes glaring me down. I glanced over and seen Aaron, Ivy, and Michi. I felt my back crawling and I quickly bounded off to my hallway to start the class of the day.

PHEW! After a long wait, I am glad you all were so patient for this chapter! School has been biting my ass about all of the homework, and heck, EVEN PROJECTS! Oh well.. It's a weekend... Hope you all enjoyed this chapter! <3
