Chapter 23//Lies of Michi

💜~•'Aphmau's POV'•~💜

As I was about to book it for the middle of the road, I felt someone grab my wrist and pulled me back into a tight embrace off the road onto the side-walk. More tears escaped my eyes and I let my arms wrap around who ever it was even though I could guess who it was.

Once we both leaned away and there was a gap between me and the person and they filled it up and gave me passionate kiss, my eyes wide, I seen the familiar light brown hair I was used to seeing, knowing it was Laurance, I closed my eyes and kissed back.

Even though what Michi told me, I couldn't help but love Laurance, he would be there if I was sad, and always did his best to keep me smiling.. He pulled away and I glanced down, I was prepared for him to yell at me for trying to actually get hit by a car but I seen a tear roll down to his chin and he whispered, "Aph, why did you try to walk out onto the highway..?! Were you trying to.. Commit suicide..?" His hand held my hand and I couldn't help but let tears fall down my cheeks.

"I-I am s-s-so stupid..!" I croaked to myself and I used my other hand to have my arm cover my eyes. Laurance moved my arm and held my chin in his hand and I could feel his hand shaking, "Aphie! Don't ever say that about yourself, you are not stupid! You are beautiful, smart, caring, and the light to my darkness, my everything.." He said softly, I couldn't help but bring my head up to look into his eyes, tears still streaming down his face.

"Y-Yes I am s-stupid! I-I allowed m-myself into a-another relationship, n-now finding out h-he uses girls a-and breaks t-their hearts..!" I sobbed and pushed Laurance away gently, if I wasn't in shock, it would've been harder. Laurance way quiet for a few seconds as I sobbed to myself before he came up behind me and hugged me tight, "Aphie, whoever told you such a stupid thing is completely wrong..! I never hurt any girl's heart on purpose, and I would never do it to you... Aph, no matter what happens, I will always be by your side. Even if you leave me, my heart will still be devoted to you." Laurance said to me, love and sadness was beaming from his shaky voice.

His head resting on my shoulder, and I said softly, "Now I feel even more stupid. I shouldn't of just said that, and believed what Michi said..." Laurance frowned at the word 'stupid' and I pressed my head against his and he said, "You're not stupid. The stupid one here is me."

I couldn't help but smile and I giggled softly before saying, "I will never... Ever... Stop loving you, Laurance. I may have been with Aaron before, but you.... Treat me right...."

It has been a few weeks since that incident and Laurance has been keeping a close eye on me. He told me he found out when a girl saw me run out of the soccer field and told Laurance and chased after me. Luckily he didn't tell anybody about the incident.

It was Christmas day today and I woke up, being all excited. For as I slept in Laurance's bed, he was asleep beside me. I poked his cheek and he groaned lightly and turned the opposite direction of me.

I frowned and laid down to where I had my chin on his arm and poked his head again. "Laurance....~ Wake up! It's Christmas morning!" I said and he brushed my finger away.

"Aphie I barely got any sleep last night... I can open presents later." He said sleepily and I frowned, "But..! I want to open presents with you! It wouldn't be special if I didn't have you there.." I complained and I heard him stifle a small laugh.

"I'm going to try and get some more sleep, I promise I'll wake up in a hour or two..." Laurance murmured. It was already 6 A.M. and Hayden and Cadenza wouldn't be awake yet until like 7 or 7:30.
