Chapter 11//Back home

After Laurance, Garroth, Dante, Lucinda, Teony, and Katelyn got done playing soccer, the guys team won by surprisingly one. Katelyn was furious so we decided to take her out to go get some ice cream.

It was nothing much but it was still something and it did calm her down.

Katelyn already dropped off everyone else besides me, Laurance, and Cadenza. "Today was so much fun!" Cadenza said and smiled at me. I laughed, "Yeah! What made it more fun was Katelyn's reaction to loosing to the guys at soccer."

Katelyn turned her head around and glared at me, "Oh shut up, Aphmau! You would react the same way if you lost to something by one point!" Me, Laurance, and Cadenza started to laugh.

"Hey, maybe we can go out again some other time!" I suggested.

"Yeah, I wouldn't mind that." Laurance replied.

"Okay, we can as long as we don't play soccer again.." Katelyn said.

"Noted!" Cadenza said and we all began to laugh, even Katelyn did. "Oh and you two punks! We're here at your house, so might wanna hop out or you guys will be going home with Aph." Laurance smirked and replied, "Not like that would be a bad thing.." He looked at me and winked. I just laughed to this, he doesn't know how I was raised and how much I am suffering inside... With my father gone, I still have no idea where he is..

"What ever dork! Just get out or else I'll make ya." Katelyn remarked. Cadenza sighed, "Alright, Alright." She opened the door on her side and she jumped out of the van waiting on Laurance. "Welp, see ya Aph!" He paused for a second and smirked at Katelyn, "And looser."

Katelyn watched him go and she flipped him off. All three of us just started laughing until we were out of breath. Laurance closed the van door and waved me good-bye, and I waved back. I looked into his handsom caring blue eyes one last time then Katelyn drove off.

After a few minutes, we arrived at my house. I open the van door and looked at Katelyn, "Thanks for the ride, Katelyn! See ya tomorrow." I said and Katelyn smiled, "No problem! If you need a ride anywhere, just give me a call, okay?" I nodded and hopped out of the van with my little bag. I watched Katelyn drive off and my smile soon faded.

I knew I was going to get the wrath of my mother..

I took in a deep breath and walked up to the front door. I stood there for a few minutes, just frozen with fear. I opened the door and walked in my house, I seen my mother there on the couch. Her arms crossed, I could just easily tell she was not pleased.

"And where have you been? I noticed you were gone yesterday.." She said with a serious face.

I felt my hands starting to shake in fear and I answered her, "I-I-I w-was just a-at a f-f-friends house.."

My mom got up from the couch and power walked up to me. I felt pain in my foot as she stomped right on it. I yelped in pain and then she slapped me right across the face. She got off my foot and I lost balance and fell right on the ground. "Take that as a sesson to NEVER leave this house without my permission." She remarked. I slowly got onto my knees with tears running down my cheeks. I got onto my feet and ran up to my room with my bag over my shoulder.

I slammed the door to my room and locked it. I slid down on the door onto my knees, I felt as if I was going to cry myself to sleep. I looked across the room to where I kept my knife incase there was an intruder or my mother attacked me again. I got up and walked over there and picked up the knife.
