Chapter 17//Back to work..

💜'~-~'• Aphmau's POV •'~-~'💜

I caught up to Nicole, Kawaii~Chan, and Zoey. They were talking about anime. "Have you ever seen Attack on Titan? That anime is AMAZING!" Zoey said with a big smile.

Kawaii~Chan shook her head and so did Nicole. I gasped and looked at them, "You never seen Attack on Titan!? Then me and Zoey here need to school you on everything about Attack on Titan." I said and they laughed.

"Who is the main character then and the cutest guy?" Nicole replied with a smirk.

"First, you need to watch the anime your self, second.. LEVI! He is so cute! So hardcore!" I gave a dreamy sigh and the others giggled. "I have to agree with you there Aphmau." Zoey replied.

Nicole looked at me right in the eyes, "Even hotter than Laurance?~" she cooed and giggled, "Nah. Laurance is hotter than Levi." I said and I quickly looked away, why did I say that.....

"Don't you three ever tell him I said that..." I growled as they were laughing and Kawaii~Chan was fangirling. We just kept on talking as we reached our class room.

We all went to our lockers and put our backpacks in there and got the stuff we needed then went into our homeroom.

I watched as Nicole opened the door and we heard Mrs. Alphy, "Nicole. You're actually early?" She said, surprised.

I seen Nicole nod and smile. She walked into the room and me, Kawaii~Chan, and Zoey followed in behind her.

"Hello Mrs. Alphy!" I said with a big smile. She looked at me with a bewildered expression. "Aphmau Pheonix? My, we haven't seen you in two months!" She said with a smile. I laughed a little and went to where my seat was. I hope no one took my homeroom seat... I thought and I sat down.

It felt odd being here, even though it felt like I was gone from school for only 4 or 5 days, but in reality it as 2 months.. I glanced out the window and watched as leaves fell from the trees, dancing in the wind as they went down. I smiled as I realized it was Fall, it was my favorite season!

With all the beautiful autumn leaves, the candy on Halloween, Thanksgiving, basically everything that involves Fall!

I looked away from the window and looked at Mrs. Alphy, she was most likely going to take role. As I expected, she got the clipboard for role call and began, "Okay, Aphmau Pheonix is already put down as present... Ah, here.. Zane Ro' Meave?" She called out.

Wait... Ro' Meave? Garroth has a little brother? I thought and glanced around, I heard a annoyed sigh then a high pitched male voice, "Here..."

I looked to where the voice came from and seen a pale guy with black hair, wearing a mask and I could only see one ice cold blue eye. I suppressed a shiver as he showed no emotion.

A few hours later. . .

Once I got dressed into my gym uniform, I walked into the gym and I seen Laurance and Garroth shooting hoops and Zoey was all alone.

I walked up to Zoey and waved, "Hey Zoey!" I say to her and she smiles and waves back, "Hey, Aphmau."

She was leaning against the wall and I leaned against the wall as well. "It's great to have a female friend in gym class now," I say quietly as she looks at me, "being in the same class with the guys is pretty fun, but it is better to find a girl to talk to!" I giggle and smiles warmly.

"I agree! But I'm sure it is amazing hanging out with Garroth.." She says and gives a dreamy sigh. I looked at her, surprised. Is she falling for Garroth..? I thought. I glanced to my right to see a guy with white hair and green eyes staring me down.

I give him a confused look and wave. I wish I didn't do that..

He walked over to me and Zoey with a flirtatious look on his face. "Heyyyyy baby~"
he cooed as he looked into my eyes.

"Uhm... Hi?" I said and glanced at Zoey to see her reaction to this, and she was giggling. I sighed and looked back at this... Guy.. And I began, "Do you need anything?"

"Why yes I do... I need your number." He pressed on and I felt his hand graze my arm. I pushed his arm away and giggled, "Uhm.. Wow.. Look, whatever your name is, I'm not going to give you my number.." I said. But with the look on his face, I knew he wasn't going to give up easily.

"C'mon girl, wouldn't a beautiful maiden like you want to talk to a handsome guy like me? And, the name's Travis by the way.." He said in a flirtatious voice. I felt my face go a little pale and I looked back to see Zoey, but she was over talking to the guys.

Zoey why...... I thought helplessly and looked back at Travis. "You are just full of yourself, aren't ya'?" I asked and crossed my arms as I forced my self to be confident that I could trick him to leave.

"Yep, and I'm not afraid to admit it." He said and I sighed. "Look Travis, I-" I was cut-off when I felt a pair of hands go on each of my shoulders and I looked up to see non-other than Laurance himself.

"Ah, so your name's Travis.. Hm?" I heard Laurance say, calm but also assertive. Travis looked up at him, even though Laurance was just about 6 inches taller than Travis, he still had to look up.

"Yeah, do you have a problem?" Travis retorted and he leaned up against the wall. "Of course I do, or else I wouldn't be over here. I don't really appreciate you... Flirting... With my girl, so you better lay off." Laurance said and my face flushed a little pink when he said "my girl."

Travis frowned and stepped back, "Alright, I didn't know she had a boyfriend.. I'll stop... For now." He said and began to walk away. Laurance sighed, I knew it was out of anger, and let go of my shoulders. ""For now." Pfff- For now my fist you little rat..." He said aloud, maybe Travis heard but he didn't turn around.

I turned around and hugged Laurance, "Thank you for making him go away! He was about to get his butt kicked if he kept on flirting with me." I said and he hugged me back.

"Heh, anything for my Aphie.." I told me and I glanced up at him with a smile, "Aphie?" I echoed him and he chuckled lightly. "It's just a little nickname for you." He said.

"Well I like it." I said warmly and we separated.

The whole gym class, Michi and Ivy would tease me but Laurance would always stand me up. We also got through art class and Michi being, well, Michi, she tempt on trying to get close to Laurance. But me, him and Garroth would always shut her up. Next was creative writing, nothing usually goes wrong in that class!
