It was lunch time. My pack and I were huddling around at a small table. Well most of my pack is anyways, the elders are at home, resting. The only person that wasn't here was Cal. I sigh, pushing my lunch away from me.

"I'm not hungry," I said putting my head down.

"Jack," Alika's voice says softly. "You need to eat something. You haven't been eating lately."

"Yeah, bro. In fact, I don't think I've seen you eat one thing since you came back from his house," Felix was referring to Mark. "Did he say something? Want us to kill him?" I growl in frustration.

"No, Felix! It has nothing to do with that mutt!" Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Mark sit down a few tables away with his pack. "I'm more concerned over the fact of where Cal is then have anything to do with that stupid alpha." Alika smirks and continues eating.

"Ugh!"Cassidy says in disgust as she watches Phil sit in Dan's lap. "How can anyone think they are cute? They're gay, they're dating and it's disgusting!"

I watch Dan and Phil playfully poke each other while giggling uncontrollably. I sigh.

Am I going to ever find a mate like that?

My pack members continue to pick on the SilverAsh's much more, while I played there lost in my thoughts.

"Hey," Alika whispers, nudging me. I look up at her. She motions towards the SilverAsh's table. A short, purple haired girl come up to Mark. Her green eyes flash, signalling that she indeed was one of our kind.

The cafeteria was too loud for me to be able to hear what she was saying. All I know is that she was a messenger wolf because she unhooks her small bag and pulls out a small black letter and hands it to Mark, who takes it in surprise.

I turn my attention back to my pack members. Felix smiles.

"Oh, no. I know that look anywhere when I see it." I frown, realizing that he wasn't talking about me, he was talking about Alika.

She looks at us with her blue eyes open innocently. "I don't know what you're talking about!"
"Uh huh," Ken says, finally joining us. "You're not even innocent." I finally caught on.

"No, Alika." She pouts.

"But I wanna know what's in the letter!" She says. I roll my eyes.

"I want to know what's in the letter too, but doesn't mean that I'm going to snoop!"

"But, Jaaaack." I roll my eyes again.

"No!" I growl, putting authority in my voice. She whines, slouching down in her sit.

"But I wanna..." Causing the rest of our friends to laugh.

"Jeez, Al. Give it a rest," Ken laughs while Felix buries his head in his hands laughing. Alika smiles.

"I'm glad you guys can find happiness in my misery," she giggles. I glance back over to their table and saw Mark glance away fast, his face turning red.

What's his problem?

==========

I sigh, as the last bell rings. I hurry out the door, and caught up with my friends who were waiting for me in front of the bus.

"We're breaking freeeee!" Ken says pushing Eden, Mark's deputy, out of the way to get on the bus. Felix laughs, hopping on the bus after him.

I wince, getting on after Felix. Out the window of the bus, I see Alika offer Eden a hand up, smiling sadly. Eden shakes her head, faintly smiling before getting up herself. I roll my eyes, sitting down in my seat as the rest of the bus starts filling up.

"Why did you offer to help her up?" I growl as she sits down.

"I wasn't being nice for no reason." She growls back at me. "I'm only trying to get close to her so I can figure out what is in the letter."

"Alika," I sigh as the bus starts to move. "Can't you just give it a rest already?" She smiles, her blue eyes turning a dark golden color.

"Nope."

When I started to leave camp a few minutes ago, I literally got in my truck, rolled the windows down and as I was pulling away, I screamed "I'M BREAKING FREEEEE!" xD shows you how lame my life is Lol.

*hugs*
