I notice while we were packing for our trip to Shannon's house, Jack kept glancing down at the note and frowning.
"What's wrong Jack?" My voice in the silent room startles him. He glances back at me.
"Nothing," Jack mutters going back to folding a pair of jeans. I sigh as he glanced at it again.
"Whatever Jack," I mutter, shoving a blue T-shirt into my small backpack. I could feel him glancing at me throughout the entire time we were packing. He probably thinks I'm mad at him and I don't blame him. He did irritate me when he said nothing was wrong.
========
Around noon time, majority of us were done packing. Cassidy, being the way she is, was having trouble choosing which outfit would go great with which pair of pants.
"Do you think these pants will go great with this shirt?" She asks Alika for the thousandth time.
"Cassidy," Alika growls. "If you ask me one more fucking time, I am going to come over there and shove a bunch of shit into that backpack of yours that way you'll have something else to worry about."
"Uh... No thanks!" She turns to Eden. "What do yo-" she stops as Eden cuts her off with the deadliest glare I have ever seen. Cassidy sighs. "You girls are no fun!" She complains.
"First off, I am a tomboy," Eden mutters, rolling her eyes. "And second off, I have more important problems to worry about than your terrible fashion sense." Dan laughs quietly behind his hand. We knew all too well how much Eden doesn't care about fashion. Apparently Cassidy doesn't and continues to pester Eden, who just ignores Cassidy in return.
Jack rubs his eyes in annoyance as Cassidy takes her sweet time packing her backpack, making sure everything was folded nice and neatly. Finally after about thirty minutes, she was done packing her bag.
"And dine!" She exclaims cheerfully as she zips up the bag.
"Fucking finally," both Eden and Alika exclaim, jumping up and grabbing their packs. Jack sighs, standing up and stretching while Felix wakes up from his nap."Is she done yet?" Jack just smirks and rolls his eyes.
"Good afternoon to you too, sunshine," he says to Felix sarcastically. Felix shrugs off the insult and grabs his plastic bag.
"Alright," Jack says quietly, looking at me. "You know where this person lives. You can show show us the way but don't think that you can start bossing MY pack around." I sigh, even more annoyed.
"I won't Jack, you know that!" He just narrows his eyes.
"Good, so let's keep it that way."
Sorry for the short chapter guys. I really am. Some of you have been wondering why I have been as quiet and less involved lately. I've been sick, really sick. Even as I'm writing this, I want to do nothing more than curl up into a tight little ball and sleep the rest of the day away. But, Lol, I can't. I have to update stories for you guys. Even though I'm sick, it's not going to stop me from writing for you guys c:
