Chapter 10

This was supposed to be chapter 10 to this fanfic but I guess I never published it by accident. Only I, a stupid, clumsy, person, could make that mistake. Supper sorry. Plus this is a super old fan fic but I was looking through it and found out I never even published this chapter. I feel so dumb. I'm so sorry XDD

"Natsu, you really don't hav-" 

"No, just relax." Natsu takes a spoon full of soup and gently puts it in my mouth. I keep telling him that I can do things on my own, and he keeps telling me that he finally understands how it felt to take care of him. I can lift my arms fine, and walk okay-ish, but things are still tuff. Layla spends a lot of her time with gray or Meira because Natsu didn't want her to be to loud or anything. Happy is with her too. 

I found out when we got back that the snake had struck me several times. Erza had defeated it well Natsu and happy ran off with me. The snake was a beast that crawled out from the underground, looking to breed and eat. If it had gotten out of the ground the whole town would have been devoured. When you look into its eyes it brings up your worst fears, worst memories, everything that may terrify you. And when the venom spreads into your whole body, you slowly 
Disintegrate right then and there. 

Erza, Natsu, gray and happy are okay, Erza a little emotionally scared and broozed up, but okay. I keep telling everyone I'm okay but they keep saying I'm not. Yes, I can't stand for a good few minutes, and I can't stretch my arms, or let a lot of things touch my skin without it burning, or walk without help, or... Maybe I'm not as okay as I thought I was...

"Hold on, " I say, not letting Natsu put another scoop of soup in my mouth. I force my self up a little bit, shaking in the process. "Lucy!" Natsu puts the soup down and tries to make me lay back down. "Natsu, stop. I can sit up just fine on my own.." I wave at him. He puts his hands on my shoulders and forces me back down on the bed, trying to not hurt me all at the same time. 

"Look, I know you feel bad, and restless, but.. Lucy you can't go doin' stuff on your own yet. You got back just a day or two ago!" He says. Sitting back down on the stool next to the bed. "Well now you know how I felt taking care of you," I say with a smile. He scratches the back of his neck and laughs a little, "haha, not so fun I guess!" 

"Can you go get Layla?" I ask. "She's with happy and gray today. She's not here," natsu says, putting a little soup in his mouth. "I know, but I want to see her. Can you go get her? Please?" I beg him. He looks at me, annoyed. I give him big puppy eyes till he finally cracks. "Fine. Don't do anything stupid! I'm telling you, if I come back and your on the floor somewhere, I'll be pissed with you!" He puts the empty soup bowl on the stool as he leaves. 

Finally, sometime alone. No one telling me I can't do anything. 

Slowly, after hearing the front door slam, I force my self up into sitting position. Pain shoots threw me like lightning. The pain was almost unbearable, but I had to get to my desk. At least get to some paper and a pen! I haven't written the novel, or to my mother, or anything in years now! I grit my teeth to wear it feels like my teeth would break. 

Finally I get my legs off the edge of the bed, and begin to push my self to stand. The moment I had gotten myself to stand, I feel my legs burn with pain. I start screaming and let my body fall limp on the ground. I can't believe... I can't believe that so many things have been happening to me, that I forgot about everything! My novel, my letters, everything's just been on hold because my life is actually starting with something bigger then my guild, my family. 

I feel a few tears roll down my face as I try reaching for my desk. "Lucy! What the hell!?" Natsus voice screams from the door way. "I- I got t-to get to my d-desk!" I croak in pain. "Mommy!" Layla yells, horrified. I turn my head to see her, natsu quickly moves her out the room and closes the door. He rushes over to pick me up and put me back on the bed, but I try my hardest to fight him away. "N- no! I- I wanna- I wanna get to my desk," I say, waving my hand at him, telling him to leave me be. He grabs onto my wrist making me stop moving my hand, and forcefully picks me up, no matter how much I kicked and hit him.
