chapter 4

After breakfast, I go to my room to change. When I finish I rip off a page in my calendar and toss it in the garbage. It's been about three months sense Natsu and I first kissed and got together. For those few months, we've been taking small jobs. When ever we take a bigger job Natsu is set on standing infront of me or not letting me do anything. I can't really be mad at him for that because of the many times I've trapped him inside my clock spirit, just to keep him out of trouble.

"Hey Lucy hurry up! I wanna go get the best job on the board today!!" I hear head Natsu yell. Quickly I run to him. We leave for the guild hall with happy following us.

"Erza!! Gray!! Common hurry up!!! I wanna get this over with!! Common Lucy!! Hurry!! Happys cought up and he's a cat!!" Natsu was far ahead of us. We were walking to a large town to defeat a monster that was attacking. Natsu was really exited because it's our first job that requires real fighting in 3 months. He was so exited he ran ahead, stopped and waited for us a little and then ran ahead again.

"It's like your dating a little kid, Lucy." Gray comments. I laugh a little. It was kinda like that. "You sure you'll be able to take care of two little kids Lucy?" Erza asks pointing to my stomach.

"I'm not pregnant Erza! I don't think I will be. Not everyone who has sex gets pregnant you know. I really think we were all just over thinking it. We'll be fine."

Gray shrugs, " well I guess call me when the baby shower is, because I've got some extra money for a card."

"Gee, thanks..."

Once we get there we can already see the monster. It's huge! Four arms and a long snout with to many horns to count. Natsu screams with joy, "AWWW YEA!!! LETS GO KILL THIS THING!!"

"Aye sir!" Happy solutes. They both run off like crazy towards it. "Natsu!! Be careful!!" I scream after him. Erza pats my shoulder, "he's fine, Lucy. No need to worry."

We run off to the town and begin to fight the monster. I stand on top of a large building to get a good look at it. Erza changes into her strongest armor and throws all she's got at them. I take out my keys and look threw them quickly.

"Open! Gate of the golden bull! Taurus!" I swipe my key but almost when I summoned Taurus I feel a strong pain in my stomach. I scream out, grasping onto my stomach and falling to my knees. What happened? Did I pull something? Why am I hurting so bad? This has never happened before!

"Hey Lucy are you okay!?" I hear gray call out to me. "Yeah! Keep fighting! I'll try to summon my spirit again!!" I call back. With a hand clenched on my stomach I stand back up. "O-open! Gate of the golden bull! T- taru.. Tar-" I fall down again.

"Lucy!!" Natsu screams. He rushes to me quickly. "Lucy?! What happened?! Are you okay?!"
I wave a hand at him, "Natsu I'm fine, go fight the monster. I'll be okay, it's just a cramp or something..."
Natsu turns back and looks at the monster. The monsters gigantic fist comes flying at us. Natsus arms go under my legs and around my back, lifting me up and he jumps quickly onto the next house. He runs across the roof and off onto the streets. He finds an open door to a house and sets me on the floor in there. "Stay here, I'll be right back." He says. Just before he leaves I grab his hand, "no! Natsu! I'm really fine, this isn't a big job anyway! I can fight!"

"Lucy! Everytime you try to summon one of your spirits, you collapse!" He says. I start getting mad, "that doesn't mean anything! I'm not weak! I can fight without them!"

"Lucy, just stay here please I don't want you getting hurt."

"No Natsu! I'm fine!"

I pull on his arm to get to my feet. "See I'm- im f-fine!" Something horrible lingers in my mouth. I lurch forward and throw up on the ground, holding my stomach. Everything outside goes quiet. There's a loud thud and that's it. I feel Natsus hand rub up and down my back softly and I throw up again.
