chapter 5

Three months later. I can't even bend over or sleep on my stomach anymore. I'm fatter then a bouncy ball.

I won't give birth till about five or six months later but it's exiting now because Natsus been jumping around and working like crazy for us and I haven't had to lift a finger for three months! Diner had been made for me (despite how burnt it can be), the jobs are getting done, and the house is actually pretty clean. Natsus been talking about baby carriage and a nursery. He wants to paint it with dragons on the walls and give the baby dragon stuffies.

Of course there are the nights where it's just me in the house alone. Natsu sometimes doesn't come back from jobs till a few days later. Sometimes weeks. I like to go out and look at clothes or do some regular shopping, it also gives me some time to hang out with Levy.

"So what are your nursery plans?" Levy asks. We wondered a market place for hours. We've been looking at clothes and trying to find a nice place for lunch. "Well sense we don't know what the gender of the baby is gonna be, we've been thinking about nurtural colors and designs. Natsu wants to make it look like a dragons nest." I laugh. Levi pulls out a sweat shirt and gestures for me to go try it on. It's pink and soft on the inside. "Perfect for pregnant people!" Levy says. I step out of the dressing room. It's pretty cozy. Perfect for nights alone and days I can't do anything.

"If you won't buy it il, buy it for you,"Levy giggles. We buy the sweat shirt and then try to find a place for lunch.

"How's this place?" I ask. "Why not?" She agrees.

Levy and I order the same thing and talk about the guild. "You know Lucy.." Levy starts, "I have a confession to make.." I look at her well I sip from my drink. "I think I'm in love too!" She says with a big smile. Stunned, I spit out my drink. "Really who?!?"

Levi laughs, "your not gonna believe this but I think I like gashial..."

"Wow! Really!?"

She nods, "yeah, I guess I just like how tuff and mysterious he is, and how protecting he can be. I don't know but if him and I pulled the same thing as you and Natsu I don't think they'll ever stop arguing about who's better!"

We both laugh. Times out with friends was definitely something I missed. Spending so much time with Natsu or working took it all away. I do feel kind of worthless though.. I can't do anything for the guild or with the guild.

"Well maybe I should head back, I don't know if Natsu is coming home today but I've ordered an extra meal for him in case." I say. I grab my purse and shuffle my way out the booth. "I'll walk home with you," Levy says. Levy and I begin our way home after a nice relaxing day.

At home I left a sticky note on the fridge that there was a box with his name on it on the counter with some chicken wings and fish sticks for him and happy. I hope I can wake up with him next to me in the morning.

I finished up a few little chores, bathed then went to bed. "Don't worry little baby," I say stroking my stomach before I go to bed, "daddy's gonna be home soon."

By morning, I was waken up early. Something poked my cheek till I opened my eyes. "MORNING LUCY BOO!!" Natsu greets me. I scream at the top of my lungs, "you scared me!!" He laughs a little then leans over to kiss my forehead. "So how was the job?" I ask, rubbing my eyes.
"It's was great, now let me see!"

"See what?"

Natsu points to my stomach then takes my hand, gently pulling me off the bed with him. He kneels down on the floor and presses his ear to my stomach. "Hi baby ignial, daddy's home from work. He killed so many monsters!"
