chapter 14

"hey, wake up," I hear Natsus voice. I feel him poking my cheek. "Whaat?" I mumble, pushing his hand away. "Common, get up, I'll get your medication," he pushes the blankets off of us. I shiver and pull the blankets over me. He throws my clothes at my head and pulls the blankets off the bed. 

We settled the discussion over the baby, and we didn't want another kid. However we did want a 'traditional' honeymoon. So we bought medication, condoms, and basically anything else that could prevent getting a kid. The wedding was yesterday, and it was fantastic. The honeymoon was pretty great too. We spent our honeymoon at a nice hotel not to far from home, but we did have to take a train and Natsu did throw up a bit and messed up his suit pants. 

"Here," he hands me a glass of water and the medication. "Ehhhhhh" I shiver at the tast and feeling of it going down my throat. "Get over it," he laughs patting my back making me jolt forward. He gets up and and walks out the bedroom and into the hotel rooms kitchen area. 

I get dressed and follow him. He hands me a plate full of eggs. "Did u make this?"  I ask, half surprised. "Yyyes.." He hesitates, dropping a to-go diner box in the trash next to him. 

I laugh and sit down at the table. He sits down next to me. I take a bite of my breakfast. "Wow. You are indeed the master chief, haha," 

"Yeah, I also do deserts," he laughs. "Well you should make me cupcakes sometime," I say. "I will go to the bakery and buy them, I mean bake them," he says. I smile, "sounds like a plan." 

"Hey so, I was thinking about taking a job later today, sound okay?" He asks, well taking the plates. I shake my head, "I feel like we should get home to Layla, we usually only leave her alone with someone for only one night," I say. He nods slowly. 

"Yeah, but I mean, we won't be around her forever. We can leave her for another night, plus someday we'll have to spend a lot of time doing something else, like what if we have to take a big job, or save the world or something," he crashes on the couch. I sit next to him, "but she's only 6, she'll be 7 in two months.. I don't want to leave her to take care of her self at a young age.. I mean think about when you were a kid.. Igneel left and-"

"I know, I know, you don't have to remind me..." He closes his eyes and nodded off. I sigh, "I just don't want her to.. You know.. Turn ou-" 

"I know!" He raises his voice a little. I stutter a little, but he puts his hand on mine, "sorry.." I says slowly. I rest my head on his shoulder and sigh. "We can go home later today after doing something fun if you want," I say looking at him. He nods, closes his eyes again for a little while, then turns to me with a big smile. 

"Okay, let's get going! What do you want to do for the next few hours before we go home?" He asks, jumping up off the couch. I shrug. He fixes his vest a bit and pushes his fingers threw his hair in the mirror. I stood up and walked up to him. "We could just go to the park and walk around a bit, sound okay?" I ask, looking at him threw the mirror. 

"Sounds good, I'll go get our stuff!" He darts into the bedroom area to grab out little suit case we shared for the night. "Wait, Natsu, which park do you want to go to?" I ask. 

He walks out with the suit case in his hand, "uh, I don't know, the one closer to home I guess," he says. "You know we'll have to take the train there, right?" I laugh a little. His face changes a bit, "yeah we could try and find one around this area, if that's okay.." 

I nod, "sure, but we still have to take a train ride home." 

"Ugh.." He groans

Natsu carries the suitcase for me the whole way. He switches hands a few times, pulling me to his other side so he can hold my hand and back to the other side when the other arm got tired. We wondered around the area. Our original goal was to find a park to roam in, but I guess it faded sense we had been roaming the town for maybe an hour now. We stopped at a café to get something to drink and a little snack.
