JIHAE's POV

I saw Jimin eating his lunch with Jungkook and Mina in the school canteen. I walked towards him and called, "Jimin-ah!"

All of them lifted their head.

"Jimin, are you okay?" I asked.

He slightly smiled. "Yeah, I'm okay. Don't worry."

"Jimin, can I talk to you for a while?"

He raised his eyebrow. "About what?"

"About your previous 'incident'?"

He sighed. "Okay, then. Come with me."

I nodded. I turned my view to Jungkook and said, "Sorry, Jungkook-ah. I have to talk to Jimin for a sec."

"It's okay, Jihae sunbae. I still have Mina."

After saying goodbye to them, I followed Jimin to wherever he went. At the end, we were in a quiet school corridor, which there was no one in here.

"What do you want to talk about?" He asked.

"Is it true that you and Taehyung got into a fight?"

He heaved a sigh. "Yes, it is."

"Who did start the fight?"

"Taehyung started the fight. He yelled at me somehow and he suddenly punched me on the lips," he said, pointing to a scar on the corner of his lips.

"I'm sorry for that, Jimin-ah."

"No need to be sorry, Jihae. Taehyung should be the one who is sorry."

"What was the problem anyways?"

"I don't know if it's true, but if I'm not wrong, I think Taehyung thought that I told you something that made you mad at him. Maybe he thought I was the one who caused you broke up with him."

My eyes slightly widened. "How could he think like that? I mean, did he really trust his instinct and be mad at you just like that? That doesn't make any sense. He must be-"

He cut me off. "He knew that I liked Hyemin. That is why he really hates me now. I once told you about that, Jihae."

I pursed my lips. Wait, did he ignore me because he had a problem with Jimin? If yes, why did he not tell me?

When I was about to say something to Jimin, my phone rang. I saw the called ID and it was Jaewoo.

"Jimin, can you wait for a sec? I need to answer this call first."

"Yeah, sure. Take your time."

I smiled and nodded. My phone kept ringing until I finally answered it.

"Yeoboseyo, Lee Jihae."

"Yah, what do you want, Jeon Jaewoo?"

"Woah, is that how you answer a call? If yes, you need to change that rude manner of yours, young lady."

I rolled my eyes, but also chuckled. Jeon Jaewoo being the manner police as usual. He was older than me, so he somehow always tried to teach me to have a good manner since I was little.

He would be a good father, I guess?

"Yah, still being the manner police, huh?"

"You're a lady, Jihae. You have to-"

"Arraseo, arraseo. You're so noisy, geez."

"Yah, let's meet somewhere," he said.

"Wait, what? Right now?"

"Um, yes? Why?"

"Michyeosseo? I'm still in school, Jaewoo."

"Just skip your classes. Easy."

"Easy your ass. Let's just meet after school, okay? Pick me up at 3."

"Arraseo. See you, then."

"Alright, see you."

I ended my call with Jaewoo. I turned around and saw Jimin who stood there awkwardly.

"Sorry for taking a long time, Jimin."

He chuckled. "Nah, it's okay. Who was that?"

"Just an old friend."

As I was about to continue asking him about his fight with Taehyung, the bell rang, which made me a bit annoyed.

"Ugh, break is over."

"And I haven't finished my lunch, thanks to you," he said.

I sheepishly said, "I promise I will treat you lunch tomorrow."

He raised his eyebrow, wanting to say something, but he nodded anyways. I left him alone in the corridor as I walked towards my classroom, not wanting to be late.

I saw Taehyung sitting on his table as he read his book. And unfortunately, he saw me too. Our eyes met and I quickly looked away. I sat on my chair, feeling uneasy. I felt that Taehyung was approaching me while I still didn't look at him. But thank God, Ms. Jung came to my class and told everyone to sit down. I looked at Taehyung, and so did he, before he turned around and sat on his chair.

Ugh, why did I feel uneasy about this?
