Chapter 36

JIHAE's POV

"Meet me at the ice rink near my house where we used to ice skate. Be there at 3 pm or else."

Why the hell did he ask me to meet me at the ice rink? Did he want me to ice skate with him or what?

"Jihae!"

After I arrived at the ice rink, I saw a figure of a man waving hand at me. I could easily tell who that was.

"Yah, Jeon Jaewoo, why did you ask me to meet you here? Do you want me to ice skate with you?"

"Yes! It's been a long time since our last visit to this ice rink," Jaewoo said. "Ah, jebaaaal~ I really want to ice skate."

"But I'm not really good at ice skating."

"It's okay, I can teach you."

I rolled my eyes. "Fine, let's go."

Jaewoo jumped in joy after I agreed to ice skate with him. He dragged me to the shoe rental. We changed our shoes to ice skating shoes. After that, we entered the ice rink. I already lost my balance as soon as I stepped my foot on the ice rink.

"Yah, be careful," he said. "By the way, do you mind if we stand here first? I want to watch the show."

"What show?"

He smiled. "Just watch."

Suddenly, I started to hear slow musics from the speaker. Everyone, except us, started to leave the ice rink.

"Yah, Jaewoo, everyone is leaving. Let's leave."

"Nope. We stay here."

"But, why?"

"I told you before, just watch."

I was getting more confused. Why wouldn't we leave the ice rink, while everyone was already in the waiting room.

Not only that, figure skaters started to ice skate and performed their figure skating in front of us. The projector screen also started to play a video.

I was completely surprised by the video.

THERE WAS ME IN THE VIDEO.

There were photos of me smiling and laughing throughout the video. The background music made the video felt so touchy. But I was more surprised when I saw the next scene of the video.

"Taehyung?"

Taehyung was also in the video, holding papers with writings on it while smiling.

Paper #1 : 'Annyeong, Lee Jihae.'

Paper #2 : 'I know that you're probably confused right now.'

Paper #3 : 'But I want to tell you something.'

Then, the video ended, though the music was still playing.

Three hockey players appeared in front of us with a large space between them and us. Each of them were holding three papers with writings on it.

Paper #1 : 'I'
Paper #2 : 'LOVE'
Paper #3 : 'YOU'

"I... love you? What does that-"

I stopped muttering when I saw someone appeared in the middle of the hockey players, slowly approaching me.

"T-Taehyung ah..."

He walked towards me with a bouquet of roses on his hand. Then, he kneeled in front of me with his right hand reaching out the roses for me to take it, while his left hand reached out for my hand.

"Jihae-yah, I know that I may not be the best boyfriend, and we once broke up because of it. Our break up was honestly one of the most painful moments I've ever had. I want to fix all of it and I want to get back to you," he said. "Can you give me another chance to be with you?"

I was shocked. Literally. I didn't expect this to happen.

"I'm gonna kill you after this," I whispered to Jaewoo.

"You will be with Taehyung after this," he whispered back. 

"Lee Jihae, do you want to be my girlfriend?" Taehyung asked.

Tears started to roam in both of my eyes as I was so touched by Taehyung's effort. I mean, look at all of this. A small event on an ice rink, figure skaters, hockey players, and even a video! Where could I find another guy like him?

I chuckled as I nodded. I took the flowers and said, "Yes, Kim Taehyung. I want to get back with you too."

Taehyung smiled brightly as he was jumping in joy. He immediately stood up and hugged me tightly. Everyone, including Jaewoo, applauded as they were also touched by this small event that was held by two high school students.

Taehyung released his hug, then he cupped my face and kissed my lips. Everyone kept clapping their hands and congratulating us.

After that, Taehyung, Jaewoo, and I continued our ice skating. We had so much fun. This was one of the best days I've ever had. I hoped that this happiness could last forever.

Ah! Finally it endedㅠㅠ But I had so much fun writing this fanfic even though this story is really bad, especially for its plot and conflicts, but I hope you can enjoy reading it. Thank you very much for reading this fanfic until the very end.

By the way, I've written a new fanfic named 'The Queen of Ice'. It's a romance fanfiction with fantasy genre. I really hope I don't mess this up and I hope it can be the better story than this fanfic. See you in the next story!

p.s. i might make the 2nd book for this fanfic, but i haven't really thought about it since i still have another fanfic to write.
